We loved our stay! You can walk down to the water and see the tide pools. We had our three children with us. Ray was an amazing host and very accommodating. We are sorry we missed his visit. This cottage is in a great central location and we enjoyed the cleanliness and layout. We would give it 100 stars and definitely come back! Thank you Ray!

Our first trip to Ireland and our first stay and it did not disappoint! Well, the weather could have been better. The house is perfect and Raymond was quick to answer any questions we had. Kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfy. We used this as a home base and did lots of driving to explore the area. Thanks again, Raymond!

A beautiful cottage, just a short walk from an ocean beach, and a short drive from some of the best seafood restaurants! A perfect, warm, dry, cozy base of operations for exploring The Burren!!

Perfect location at the northernmost point of the Burren, a great starting point for excursions. The house has everything you need, a beautiful setting, and maximum peace and quiet! Very friendly, accommodating host! Wonderful vacation, we'd love to come back!

We wish we could have stayed longer! It's a really nice modern place with plenty of space, beautiful views and a great location! Its a short walk down to the beach and a short drive into the village. Ray was very responsive. There was an issue with the hot water the night we arrived, (which turned out to be minor) Ray replied to every message quickly and it was taken care of the next morning. Highly recommended.

We spent 5 days in this beautiful college in Ballyvaughan.Location is great. Just a short walk to the beach and a 5 min drive to the village, where we could find easily a shop that provides with food and all you may need for your stay. Good starting point for the exploration of Irlands western part. The interior of the house is as described. Nothing was missing for us and we enjoyed the spacious kitchen and the cozy living room. Plenty of bedrooms and several bathrooms.Check-in was organized by Raymond in a very easy way, Raymond was always reachable and a perfect host. We would decide to come back any time.

First of all, I have to say that we are used to VRBO's Premier Hosts. Our expectations are higher for Premier Hosts, especially since we paid more than at any other locations in the past. Let's start with the good things. The location is awesome, close to many activities and a beautiful sunset. We took several great photos. The home has 3 bedrooms, which could easily sleep 6. Also, the owner was kind enough to let us check in earlier, which was good. On the other side: - The home has several (kind of) spider webs, and the kitchen cabinets had a smell (like an old shack). - The cutlery was old, and some pieces didn't have handles or were broken. - Only one roll of toilet paper, with no spare. - No external garbage bin. - No basic condiments such as salt. - A fireplace without wood. - The internet was slow, not workable even for texting. - The old heating system was hard to set; some of the handles were so old they didn't stick to their hubs. - Beds were small for tall people (5'10), and some were uncomfortable to the point where we took the kids' beds instead. Maybe we are picky, but I am pretty sure many of these are show-stoppers for others. For us, they were, and we left a day earlier.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ballyvaughn. Ray is a great host--check in was a breeze and the location of the house is terrific-- close to town, but quiet--with great access to Bishop's Quarter--a lovely strand for walking- The view from the house couldn't be prettier. This would be a great spot for a family, as there is plenty of room. We will be back for sure.

We had a nice relaxing stay at Raymond's cottages. The cottage was very neat and clean and the beds were very comfy. Everything worked well. We used the TV box to charge our devices, as our European adapter had previously failed. Great place to stay by the beach. Would stay again! Thank you!
