Cottage Close to Lake & Resort w Fireplace&FirePit

Very cozy for 2 parents and a 1 year old. Used the pack n play for baby sleeps in the 2nd bedroom. Cooked some hearty meals for the cold weather. Walked down to the frozen lake. And took the 2 min drive to Nicks lakehouse for lunch.

We booked this rental sort of last minute. Lucky for us, it was available! Location was excellent. The lake was a ahort walk. Peaceful yard with the deer.

Lovely quiet cottage with everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable and serene. Only downside was that, while the lake was close, the public access area was a bit farther than we expected (a 10 minute walk on a busy road without sidewalks). But close access to kayak/canoe/pedal boat rentals, tons of hiking trails, great indoor & outdoor spaces on the property, and everything we needed to cook our own meals and relax. The s'mores supplies from the host were a thoughtful, sweet bonus!

We were very pleased with this vacation cottage!! It was cleaned, attractively decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need. There was even the makings for s'mores left on the counter! So welcoming! The location was great for hiking and enjoying nature. Deer and chipmunks visited quite often. We enjoyed making a fire in the fire pit, eating at the picnic table, and hanging out on the deck. If you need a quiet get-away, don't hesitate to book Boulder Cottage.

This quaint little cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway. Close to Jim Thorpe but out of the hustle and bustle. Loved sitting on the sun porch and reading and watching the deer go by.
