Loved unique features of this old converted brick cart room with lovely cottage garden in the courtyard. Host Stuart is happy to share his longtime family story associated with the property which adds to the interest in staying here. Comfy bed & kitchen quite user friendly. Happy to recommend as good place to stay.

Friendly host, excellent accommodation for a couple of nights. Full English breakfast was lovely and a lovely touch with the hosts dogs popping in and out. Host’s offer of a return taxi to Sandburn Hall was great which we used on one night.

Stayed here two nights for a wedding at Sandburn Hall. Cottage was clean and comfortable. Close to road so bring ear plugs if light sleeper. Stuart ran us there and back to Sandburn Hall for a small fee. Excellent service.

Great location for the wedding we attended at Sandburg Hall. Stuart opened the bar for us to have a pre wedding drink, then .took us to the venue, and then picked us up (for a charge). Breakfast was a full English and was filling. Private parking in the Cottages courtyard.
