Stayed Jan 24, 2025Cottage is well equipped and comfy. The owners look after you really well, which was very important this weekend with the crazy weather when the electricity went off! And we had the added bonus of seeing the wonderful new born lamb, Kitkat. ?

Stayed Aug 1, 2023Stayed here before and reviewed that the bed was uncomfortable. Bed even worse this time,only stayed for 3 nights went home early couldn’t stay there any longer. Such a shame as cottage is lovely in such a lovely place, and the owner is so nice,but unfortunately won’t be going back

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Stopped for 2nights to visit Beamish and then Durham. Stopped in the granary. Plenty room, lovely and clean. June was very helpful and her local knowledge was excellent. Location wise it was 20 mins ride to Beamish and the same for Durham centre. Local shops and pubs in Lanchester about 10 mins by car.
