Cottage at Summerscape Resort

We enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as pictured and super clean. The host is very friendly and helpful. There is a lot to do in the area. Highly recommend.

Our stay at Monica’s cottage at Summerscape Resort in Wells, Maine was absolutely wonderful! The cottage was spotless upon arrival – clean, fresh, and well-maintained, which immediately set the tone for a relaxing vacation. Communication with Monica was excellent; she was responsive, friendly, and made check-in a breeze.The “resort” offers plenty of family-friendly amenities, making it easy to enjoy quality time together. From the pool and kids recreation room to the welcoming community atmosphere, everything felt designed with families in mind. We loved how close it was to local attractions and beaches, yet it still felt like a peaceful retreat.

Amazing stay! We’ve stayed at the cottage for the past two years and have loved it both times. It’s so close to everything but so quiet, which is great for a family with little ones. Also having the pool and pool house/game room right behind the house is an added bonus. Would recommend this place over and over again!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at SummerScape The cottage is very enjoyable. Beautifully decorated, clean, well stocked and so very well maintained. The grandchildren loved the bunk beds, loft, lovely clean pooland recreation room. There was plenty of shade with the nice landscaping, umbrellas and furnishing at pool. The cottage was supplied with anything needed for a trip to the beach.The grandson also loved the games and toys on hand, especially, the razors (scooters). Property and grounds meticulous. We did not have time to experience the campfire ring area or the gym, not enough time! Maybe next visit! Check in and out a breeze!And first time I ever put garbage out (daily) at the designated garage area and it had no smell! LolThe residents and renters were all kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in this quiet cottage community.The owner answered any questions within minutes. It was nice to have sheets and towels included in the rental. I also liked having the full size washer and dryer. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The pool is not heated.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this beautiful, cozy cottage in Maine. It was the perfect home base—well-stocked with everything we needed and in a great location. We enjoyed day trips to Ogunquit, Kennebunkport, and Portland, and loved returning each evening to such a peaceful and charming space. Monica was incredibly accommodating and a fantastic host. Highly recommend this cottage for anyone exploring the southern Maine coast!

Clean and beautiful place! We stayed for the long weekend with our 3 toddlers, and it was perfect. Quiet and friendly community. Great location. Very accommodating owner! Hope to stay again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was perfect for us. We flew into Boston and drove to the cottage 1.4 hours away. Really a lovely drive. We enjoyed the beach there in Wells and York, close by. We made a day trip to Kennebunkport, and another to Acadia National Park. It was lovely. The cottage is beautifully decorated, clean and just as advertised. I'd highly recommend it. We would stay here again.

Had a wonderful week staying in this cottage. The check in was easy, response from Monica prompt. The cottage is equipped with everything you need and located right by the pool. It was very quiet overnight which made for getting a great night’s rest. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we were there longer.

We had a fun week in Wells at this property! It is a great set up for families with kids being right next to the game room and pool (both of which were always clean and well kept). The condo itself is also great with 2 TVs separated by a sliding door so you can all watch what you like later in the evening but still see each other. The community is off the main road so nice and quiet and relaxing but close enough to easily access restaurants and the beach in less than 10 minutes. Monica was a great host - informing us when the condo was ready for check in (earlier than we expected), and she even shipped me a handful of clothes that I had forgotten upon check out. I'd highly recommend staying here for your Maine vacation.

An excellent place to stay for a get-away to South Maine. Clean comfortable and most importantly quiet!! We had a great time.

I took my kids and my nephew to Wells for a relaxing short vacation and we stayed in this cottage. It was very comfortable for the 4 of us. My kids slept in the spacious bunk bed, and my nephew slept on the futon in the loft. I slept in the queen bedroom. We all had privacy and it was lovely. The kids liked hanging out on the loft. I liked sitting on the lovely porch and knitting and drinking my coffee in the morning. The cottage is conveniently right next to the pool area, which has a glorious hot tub that I enjoyed. The kitchen had everything we needed in terms of kitchen tools. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

This is our 5th time using VRBO & was by far the VERY Best. The Cottage at Summerscape looks exactly like all the beautiful pictures. It was clean & well stocked. Our college & high school aged children enjoyed the pool & game room. The location was perfect for us because it is in its own secluded village, but a short drive from Ogunquit, Kennybunk & Portland. We enjoyed Wells beach as well. Monica was a dream to work with. She even texted while we were there to ask if we needed anything. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We spent 4 nights in this great cottage. It was beautifully decorated/furnished and could have easily been featured in a national magazine. It's very convenient to all the places you would want to visit in southern Maine. Great restaurants close by and shopping just minutes away. Thanks for hosting us, great memories. Debbie & Mark
