This was our second year staying at Brice & Michelle's gorgeous little beach cottage and it has well and truly stolen all our hearts. It is such a special place; the views, the air, the community, the beach, and of course the cottage itself... complete perfection in it's quirky, rustic beauty. We will be back every summer, as long as they'll keep having us!! Thank you SO much for sharing your happy place with us :)
Cottage was great, location was even better!
Just as I remembered it .... perfect
This cottage (and its community) is nothing short of magic… we’re so fortunate to have discovered this gem. Its location on the cape is second to none in terms of views, the beach, and its proximity to the nearby towns. The cottage is the definition of rustic - so if that’s not your thing, then this place is not for you. But - if you understand and appreciate the pure beauty of such a rustic cottage experience, in such a historic and beautiful location - well then this place is a true and rare find. It feels like this little community of cottages is hidden away from the world, suspended in time from long ago. Our neighbors were amazing and wonderful connections / friendships were made. My children ran about freely, giggling, playing in the sand, making friends, playing games…. Adults sat on porches, grilled dinners, chatted on the viewing deck at sunset, shared food… stories, memories. The ocean breeze was the BEST, and the sunsets were breathtaking. We cannot wait to return next year, and truly hope to do so yearly. We’re so, so thankful to have discovered this slice of heaven on Cape Cod.
Love the quaint rustic cottage, the decks, and the panoramic view of Cape Cod Bay. The private beach is a climb but really sweet. Small but very well-equipped kitchen. Walls and doors are old and thin so not much privacy for two couples but that was offset by the location, view, ocean breeze.
After not traveling for the past 2 years, we decided it was time for a much needed vacay. When I first saw the listing for this darling cottage, I knew that this was exactly what we needed. Cottage #8 is the perfect escape, located on a cliff, overlooking the bay. It was quiet, it was peaceful, the views were stunning, and the cottage itself was absolutely lovely! The kitchen is loaded with anything and everything that would be needed to prepare your meals. The living room was cozy for family conversations and laughs. This was our first time visiting the cape, and we loved it! We hope to go back in the near future.
About as peaceful and regenerative as it gets. Perfect for a couple. Very little sound-proofing, so might not be as ideal for kids/youth.
This is a beautifully maintained cottage at an amazing location, with stunning views on Cape Cod Bay. The cottage is part of a complex of about 5 other cottages and there is a wonderful senses of community. At sunset all the visitors (or owners) meet at the deck for a chat before dinner. Sunset on the bay is always stunning. Too bad we were there only for one week. We love Cape Cod but never stayed in Truro before so we had a great experience at this property.
We loved our stay in this beautiful cottage! It was so clean, homey, and welcoming, and we loved the view from the back porch as well as the walk down the stairs to the private beach. We spent most of our time going to ocean sides beaches, but loved coming home to this peaceful place.
Our family enjoyed our stay. Spent most of our days on the beach. Other renters in this area very friendly and considerate with enjoyable conversations. Property owners responded very quickly to all our questions and the cabin is well equipped to entertain. Kitchen was easy to clean and well stocked. We would love to return.
