Stayed Aug 2, 2017Lovely renovated property. Everything modern and new. Lovely to meet Fabrice and his Father, very friendly. Enjoyed the two horses grazing in the adjacent garden.Grateful for the wine, bread and jam on arrival. (Plus a sneaky second bottle delivered!) Lots to do in the local area, medieval villages, vineyards, mountains, lake, chateau. Would recommend.

Stayed Jul 30, 2016The photos really don’t do this place justice. We stayed for a week in August 2016 with our 10 month old daughter and can’t recommend it enough. The gîte is brand new and occupies the ground floor of a detached house with stables. Upstairs is gradually being renovated by the owner but he lives elsewhere so we had a quiet week to ourselves. The interior is spotlessly clean with lots of space for little ones to crawl around & outside it has a lovely garden with a fully equipped bbq. There was a basket of wine, pastries & jam waiting for us on arrival, and on Sunday we were delivered some fresh bread & a copy of the local paper. The village of Sondernach is small and perfect for a quiet get away. There are some beautiful walks nearby & the nearest town, Munster, is just 10 minutes away with everything you might need, including a big supermarket. The owner of the gîte and his family were incredibly welcoming & helpful & were respectful of our privacy during our stay. It really did exceed our expectations. Thank you Fabrice for such a lovely week!
