I liked being steps away from the beach! The cottage was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I enjoyed my stay!
We spent Halloween weekend at this lovely little cottage. The space was perfect for the two of us. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. We loved being right at the beach. Communication with Lisa was GREAT! Thank you so much for sharing your fantastic cottage with us. We will definitely be back!!!
The cottage was just what we needed. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. It is a perfect place to escape to. The accommodations were great.
I was exactly what I wanted and exactly what I needed. Comfortable. Cute. Clean. Convenient. Lisa is so easy with speak to and work with. I can’t express enough how much I enjoyed being there and have every intention of booking this perfect cape cottage again.
I was traveling alone, but this place hit all the right notes for a solo trip and it’s on my radar for a future romantic getaway. My host, Lisa, communicated quickly and made check-in and check-out a breeze. I highly recommend this tasteful, oasis.
We had a good time in Provincetown and surrounding areas. The pictures were a bit misleading. The cottage is not on the beach but across the street. There is not a view of the ocean as depicted by Adirondack Chairs. Other than that all was as expected for a studio cottage. Small tv in front corner of room was hard to see and hear from the rear location of the bed.
This cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Comfortable bed, an actual couch, and a well equipped kitchen.
We had a great stay. It was very relaxing, right across the street from the beach. Less than 10 minute drive down the road to P town. We also walked into P town one day which was really nice. Views of the water and cute beach houses the whole way. We will be back.
My husband and I and our 7 year old stayed for 5 nights. I knew the location so no surprises there- right on 6A across from a private bay side beach. Water was warm and perfect for floats. Neighbors were great. Very friendly and welcoming. The place is very cute. Not a lot of storage, which was anticipated. I was able to cook most nights and the cottage had all I needed to do that. We used the grill a bunch. Short drive to Provincetown and beaches. Highly recommended!
The space was perfect for 2 people. Since the space was small, we would have benefited from fewer items being stored on floor and any flat surface. Examples, 2 coffee makers and kcup supply, large boiler pot on floor by bed, microwave on the table by bed. Suggest using large drawer under bed for storage of blender, coffee pot, pots and pans and non essentials. You could have a permanent list of where these things are stored posted. I would suggest too, that adding a few high shelves would help free up space. Would have liked to have a starter set of paper towels and hand soap. New ice trays needed. They were all broken.
The cottage across the street from the bay was cute and bed was comfortable! We did not have the best weather so were inside more than expected and it is a tight space (just FYI) though the owner makes good use of vertical hanging options for clothes, etc. We were hoping to eat at home some nights, but the tiny kitchen makes it challenging as there is no place to dry dishes, etc. Again, just an FYI for travelers' planning purposes. There are plenty of places to go eat in Wellfleet, Truro, and Ptown. Check in and check out were easy. Thanks for having us!
The cottage is in a great spot, close to PTown but just far enough away to enjoy the quiet and the beach. Friendly neighbors. Clean and adorable. Lisa was fantastic and we look forward to returning!
We enjoyed our stay. Well situated to P Town and other sights we wanted to see. Clean and comfy. Friendly neighbors. Perfect for two.
Cute cottage, decorated nicely. No curtain or shade on bathroom window. The big issue was not heated. Late April without heat was awful. 55° inside in the morning.
Lisa was east to communicate with and resolved small issues quickly. Just a few minutes’ drive from Provincetown. My only feedback would be to add a heat source; my stay in the evenings was pretty chilly, which I didn’t mind but others might! Just a heads-up to travelers and not any reflection on the cottage or stay: there is a street that runs quite close to the cabin and it can be loud a (too) fast moving. Would stay again!
This property was so perfect for me and my friend during a weekend on the cape! The property manager was easy to contact and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this adorable cottage!!
House was perfect get away for my wife and I.
Perfect little cottage just steps from the beach. It's proximity to Provincetown, Wellfleet and the rest of the Cape makes it a great sightseeing base. The cottage, while small, is perfect for two people and had everything we needed. We loved our time in the area and it made for a memorable 60th birthday celebration.
There was pretty much everything I needed in a hotel stay. I was a little dismayed when I first arrived as I had called the owner to tell her when I was 20 minutes away. When I got to the cottage, there was no way for me to know how to get in. I called again, but got no answer. It was only by chance that I decided to try the door and found it was unlocked and the key was on the countertop. But it was confusing. The decor was adorable, and the couch a good alternative to the bed. There was no table to eat on, and I thought the picture had had one. Kitchen had almost everything I needed and though it was the tiniest space I've ever been in, I got by fine. I have a big grudge against Keurigs for their environmental inadequacies, but I know most places have them. Location was easy for both provincetown and wellfleet. the beach, about 100 feet from the cottage across a very small street, was fine. a little seaweedy, but hey, it's the ocean. I would suggest they put a longer cord on the fan because I had to climb up onto the couch to reach it and it didn't feel safe. I can imagine you could put children to sleep on the couch, but not a grown up. Overall, lovely. Adorable and cozy. Bring your own beach chairs and towells.
Had a great stay!
Always love our Truro stays.
