Beautiful waterfront cottages, great swimming and water activities available, everything you need! The hosts were amazing, very kind and thoughtful! Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to spend a week.

Our family just finished a great getaway at this cottage in Clyone. It sits lakefront, on a hill overlooking Mazinaw Lake, just a stone’s throw from the waterfront. Down on the shore, a sandy bottom waterline awaits with a large dock, perfect for sunbathing, reading a good book or watching your kiddos swim. There’s an array of water sports to choose from: SUP, canoe, kayaks and a cute two-person paddle boat. In the evening, there are two large fire pits right next to the lake, and even better, both come a view of the sun hitting the Mazinaw Rocks as you start your fire at sunset. For the kids, a beanbag toss set on a grassy lawn is close by so they can play while parents relax! :D Also, we are dog people so the fact that we could bring our dog was a big plus! The owners were lovely people and very responsive. There are a number of cottages on the property, my only big criticism is that I would have loved to see the other unit on Vrbo, closer to the water for a choice as to which unit to book. The other cons would be the washroom and shower is not in the cottage, however only a 30 second walk away, and the cottage is very rustic, but it was clean and had all the kitchen amenities we needed. Across the way, our kids loved the game cottage with foosball and air hockey tables, plus a big tv complete with DVD/VHS player (I had to explain to our young boys, who only know streaming, what this movie box contraption was, which was fun). Overall, a great getaway, and one that I will look to book for our family of four again.

My niece, dog and I found this property to be a relaxing place to hang out. A change of scenery is as good as a rest! Our hosts were very inviting and promptly responded to any requests. Thanks for the park pass to Bon Echo which is a wonderful scenic spot especially the pet exercise trail. A good time had by all! Thanks Janet & Dean!
