Stayed Jan 1, 1The Nest is very suitable for only two persons and the location is perfect for visiting all the beautiful villages of the Cotswolds, We loved the quiet and nice place and all the useful amenities. Nearby you can start interesting walks through the beautiful countryside using a big variety of footpaths !

Stayed Jan 1, 1The Nest is beautifully located , advertised as dog friendly but due to the owners chickens and cats were unable to allow our dog off the lead which was a bit of a nuisance. The sloping ceilings within the property made for a very cramped feel . However well furnished and pretty. Well equipped. Directly facing owners property so did nt feel private . But still enjoyed our week.

Stayed Jan 1, 11. Nightmare to find . No indication from road of where it was . 2 . Sofa extremely uncomfortable. Could not get cooker hob to work properly ( to stay on ) . 3 cooker hood dangerous ( glass plate on top ) .4 .shower cramped due to slope ceiling. Left early due to lots of banged heads & stubbed toes . We wouldn't recommend. . Lovely scenery and days out . Shame accommodation let holiday down .

Stayed Jan 1, 1A lovely holiday home in a charming Cotswold village. The accommodation is well-situated for access to various places of interest within the Cotswolds. The cats also make excellent hosts!

Stayed Oct 31, 2024Cosy, peaceful property. Perfect location for exploring Cotswolds villages and attractions. Well equipped kitchen area but a tea towel and oven gloves would be a great addition. A lovely place for a base for sleeping at night and going out all day.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Check in at 5pm meant arriving in the dark, location sent via What 3 Words, which we do not use and therefore couldn’t find The Nest. Following a telephone call and guidance we managed to find it, signage needs improving as impossible to see In the dark Great little place to stay to explore the locality. Wouldn’t want to stay longer than a weekend as sofa not comfortable for relaxing. lovely and clean, all the essentials provided, could do with a large wall mirror near a plug for drying hair etc. Heating was a bit random and unable to change it due to needing a passcode, not sure if timer had been reset when clocks went back as radiators were red hot at 04:00 hrs but cold by the time we got up- 06:30 hours, evening heating didn’t come until 18:00hrs, so chilly when we would come back in the afternoon. The Cotswolds is beautiful and we had no trouble finding cosy pubs for evening meals

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We throughly enjoyed our stay in the cotswolds. The Nest at Robins Roost is in a lovely setting and had all we needed for our stay. The property was clean but slightly let down by a number of cobwebs around the lights. The bed is very comfy, however it squeaks heavily. An easy fix with an Allan key. On our last night it was very windy. Not sure if it was the tree hitting the building or something rattling in the car port underneath the property. What ever it was it was enough to cause a sleepless night. I'm not one to complain and would stay again. A few minor easy fixes needed.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The Nest is a really cozy get-away stay. The website describes very well what to expect with the sloping ceiling and all. My partner is 189 CM long and because we knew what to expect it was our choice to stay here. That's why we also expected a kingsize bed. But the truth is that we both had issues fitting into the bed. The actual measurements of the bed is 140cm by 200 but the matrass is only 130 by 200 (and the bed shrieks when you move just an inch) . With a duvet that is has exactly the same measurements, 130 by 200 cm, try to fit under that together without poking an eye out. The cleanliness can be worked on, there was a bit dust here and there but overall good enough. Everything else was exactly as described and shown on the website. The kitchen has everything you can think of and I loved it! because of it we cooked ourselves during our stay (a week). The owners are really nice and we enjoyed walking around on the premises to see their lovely natural pond and their chicken who roamed around there too.
