Stayed Aug 2, 2025The property is in a quiet and peaceful location. It's a great base for exploring the area, but you will need a car. It is a 5 min drive from Rock where there's a shop, bakery, pub, takeaway pizza, small brewery, and fish and chips. The property has been nicely renovated. Everything has been thought of to make your stay comfortable. There's a hosepipe at the back which is great for cleaning up after a day at the beach. There's a storage chest full of buckets and spaces, body boards, outdoor games etc which my children loved. The kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment you'd need. There isn't a dishwasher but there is a washing machine, which we found really useful. We also appreciated all the storage in the bedrooms for clothes, which can sometimes be lacking in holiday lets. Karla was very quick to respond to any questions.We recommend this cottage if you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable base to explore the local area.

Stayed Jun 7, 2025Perfect cottage in nice surroundings. Easy access to Rock, Padstow, Polzeath and Wadebridge. Mamas Cream teas just up road are scrummy! Walks from Rock to Polzeath via Daymer Bay really nice

Stayed May 26, 2025A lovely cottage in a really peaceful area. Great access to the beaches of Rock & Polzeath in particular as well as plenty of others. Polzeath being our family favourite due to the waves.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cottage & would love to stay again in the future.

Stayed Aug 5, 2023This is a great property in a very quiet area. It was perfect for us with all the amenities you need and we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was in a great location too. Brilliant grounds and although we didn't end up taking our dog , it would have been ideal for her.
