Corpus Christi Country Getaway

Wonderful place to stay. From the cozy interior, to the relaxing courtyard in the back. The attention to detail was superb. The little coffee nook added to the charm. I recommend this listing to anyone wanting to stay in Corpus Christi or just wanting to be 30mins from the beach. Money well spent.

The Dandelion Inn is an absolute gem. It’s beautifully furnished and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need—and more. From the abundance of towels to the well-stocked coffee bar and quality toiletries (body wash, shampoo, and conditioner), every detail is covered. Susan goes the extra mile with welcoming touches like snacks and a cookie jar filled with delicious homemade cookies.There’s also a lovely patio out back, which looked perfect for relaxing, even though we didn’t get a chance to enjoy it during our stay. Susan was incredibly kind and a wonderful hostess, making the experience even more special. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Place was super nice. The host was amazing our TV went out and she replaced it without any issues. We will definitely go back.

Our stay at the Dandelion Inn couldn’t have been better! I am so glad that I found this place and that it was available when we needed it. The cottage is so cozy yet incredibly roomy. The decorations are just beautiful and make it feel very welcoming. The location is great - close enough to all of the amenities in town but away enough for some nice peace and quiet. All of the little personal touches just made us feel so special and welcome. The homemade cookies are just to die for! We will definitely be looking to stay here again at our next opportunity. We always enjoy staying at Dandelion Inn and this trip was no exception! It was clean, comfortable, quiet and the host was wonderful. We will definitely be back again and look forward to drinking coffee on the front porch!

We had a great stay here. It's a bit outside the city proper, but nothing in Corpus is too far. The beds were comfy, and the living room area and sofas were perfect for hanging out. The homemade cookies were fantastic and a lovely touch. Would definitely stay again.

As always, another great stay at The Country Getaway!! Everything is always so clean, and Ms. Susan is always accommodating to any needs we might have. Thanks again for another wonderful stay, and of course the AMZAING cookies!!!

This was my second time staying here and everything was great just like before. From decor to supplies everything is well thought out. The leather couches are comfy. I wish we would have had more time to use the outdoor space. This time I brought my grandmother and mother. I knew they would love it here. I was correct! Just as I was, they were very impressed. The area feels safe, is quiet, has a country feel, with easy access to everything! My only recommendation would be to add a memory foam bed topper but that's my personal preference. Other than that the cookies were delicious, the owners are friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this home to others.

I would 100% recommend this beautiful home. Check in was easy and convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed. The coffee bar and home made cookies were amazing. Everything in the home was perfect. Very clean and super comfortable. The hosts were by far the best I’ve experienced. Such wonderful and helpful people. I would definitely book here again.

Dandelion Inn is a wonderful place to relax, enjoy the coffee bar & and home made cookies, see gorgeous sunsets from the patio and be amazed by the variety of plants grown all around. The time we spent there was peaceful & delightful.

Every amenity meticulously chosen. Like home. Welcoming. If an improvement could be made, it would be a shower sprayer. And OMG those cookies! Coffee bar was thoughtful. Decor was 100% Texas ranch style.

They were great and very accommodating at check out which made a world of difference for my kids who were there for a swim meet. The custom sugar cookies were amazing. Google maps was about 1/4 mile off on where the location is but they helped guide me. Water pressure in the shower is very low and the TV setup is not intuitive but neither of these items were critical for us. Everything that was critical, was great.

Exactly what we needed!! Clean, quiet and located close to everything. Food, Beach, shopping etc. The host made cookies for us and they were so delicious!! Loved our stay!!

It was our 2nd time staying here, and as always was a great place! Place was clean as always, easy to move the boat in and out of, and is stocked with just about everything you could possibly need. And most importantly....let me not forget about the amazing cookies!! Look forward to coming back on our next fishing trip to the area.

Susan is an amazing host and has thought of every detail to make your stay relaxing and comfortable! From the stocked coffee bar, to the plush towels, and delicious cookies, you will love staying here. You are near the conveniences of the city, but have the comfort of home. My husband and I will stay here again when we are in the area.

Susan and Tracey were wonderful. I always get nervous staying in new places and they made us feel very welcome from the first second. Mrs. Susan went out of her way and left us some homemade cookies that were on theme with our stay and completely made my kids day. As long as its available we will be staying here next year as well.

This was our second time to stay at this cottage we absolutely love it and it’s only 8 minutes from our Kids and Grand kids. Love sitting on the front porch and drinking coffee. It is a wonderful place. Will definitely stay again.

Beautifully decorated for the fall season, extremely clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. Host was very responsive and went out of her way to make sure I had a couple of extra items I needed. And the custom baked cookies she baked for me to match the reason for my visit - wow! This was so incredibly thoughtful! Moreover, I really appreciated Susan and her husband making sure they introduced themselves and asked if there was anything else I needed. This was my first VRBO stay and was superior A+. Thank you both for accommodating me with such elegance. Hope to visit again.

It was evident that the hostess put a great deal of effort into maintaining this cottage. Both my husband and sister couldn't stop talking about how cozy and welcoming your place is. Thank you for the cookies and snacks that were readily available. We traveled from Austin, TX, and Brownsville, TX., to celebrate Mom's 74th Birthday. I wished we could have enjoyed the outside more, but time did not allow it. The backyard setting is warm, pleasant, and comforting; the size is fantastic!

Great outta the way, location for a quick family fishing trip. Place was just as described, and perfect location for us to store our boat too. Susan was available to answer any questions, and even made us some delicious fish shapped cookies. Would definitely stay here again whenever we're in the area.

I loved the decor and attention to detail. This place was very clean. It’s near a house but still very private. We enjoyed playing corn hole at night and the cookies were beautiful and delicious 😋 the beds were nice but I wish a little softer. We would definitely recommend and return to this VRBO. Totally enjoyed our stay! Cabin was super clean with a totally “home” feeling. It’s just far enough off the beaten path to have that private vibe…but everything you want to experience in the area is only a few minutes drive. The owners were great to deal with from start to finish…not to mention just being awesome people to visit with when the opportunity arises! They are not in your business at all…but genuinely good and friendly people that WANT you to enjoy your time spent in their hometown!don’t hesitate on this place…great val
