Coastal Wells Cottage w/ Access to Game Room & Gym

5 Stars – A Perfect Maine RetreatWe had such a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage! It was cozy and surrounded by the peaceful beauty of Maine. The setting was quiet and relaxing. The location made it easy to explore nearby beaches, towns, and the coast. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and everything we needed was right there. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

The cottage was lovely, exactly what we expected. Unfortunately we did not receive the lock box code from the owner, called her she gave us the code, it didn't work, the keys were in the office. We arrived, trash was left outside the door, the floors were dirty, every table (dining, kitchen, living room, sunroof, master bedroom) had crumbs on them. The dishwasher was full and a coffee cup with coffee in it was in the machine. Called the owner, she said see would come over the next day. Did not show up. We swept the floors, washed them and the tables down, emptied the dishwasher. We were not impressed.

Our stay at the cottage was lovely. The location was excellent. It was nice that we had a cottage that did not have a lot of traffic driving by as it was in a dead end street. It looked exactly as advertised and was clean and in good condition. we would be happy to stay again.

I always adore staying at Summer Village! Great cottage, adorable decorations and very well equipped with kitchen basics, pillows, etc. aC worked great as did the ceiling fans. Beds were comfortable. Absolutely no complaints!!

The neighborhood is perfect; quiet dead end street. The pools and grounds were spectacular and clean. The cottage itself was cute and well stocked. My only issues were: we arrived after 3pm and the cleaner was still there and said she had been there for 2 hours though you wouldn’t know it. Floors were dirty, bathroom was not clean and the tub was filthy. We ended up cleaning everything after she left. The mattresses and couch are very well worn. Lots of “stuff” and oversized furniture made this place seem even smaller. Overall, our trip was great but would maybe try a different cottage next time.

This was our second time visiting Summer Village, but this time in a different cottage. The community is fantastic and very good for families. They have a trolley that goes around the complex to pick up / drop off at the 3 pools and playground. There are a few different layouts of the cottages. We liked this layout better than the one we stayed at before. It was really hot out when we stayed, and our only disappointment was that there is only a single window A/C unit for the whole cottage. The previous one we stayed at had a split unit for each room and would have been very welcomed this time. There are ceiling fans in each room, so it wasn’t unbearable. Looking at other units in the village, it appears that the single window A/C is more common. All in all, we were happy with the accommodations and would recommend it to others.

This was our first family vacation as a family of 3. It could not have been more perfect. We hope to go back!

We enjoyed our stay

This unit is in a quiet area of the resort but a short walk (or trolley ride!) to the pools, playgrounds and amenities. Very convenient location to drive to beaches, entertainment and so many food options in Wells and Ogunquit. We had everything we needed in the cottage and really enjoyed our stay.
