The cottage was clean, well stocked with essentials (and appreciated nonessentials) and charmingly decorated. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood as well as the easy proximity to the playground, pickleball courts, and Farmers market on Saturday and Wednesday. Christine obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making our stay comfortable and enjoyable and was quick to respond to any questions we had. One thing that I would point out that might be problematic for some people is that, while the place was very clean, the bedding was pretty heavy on the detergent/fabric softener scent.

We love staying in Coastal Daze Cottage. This was our second stay, and despite the bad weather as the hurricane approached, we had a great time. A beautiful, comfortable house, with everything you need, and conveniently located.

We were 3 adults and one 8-year-old child. We absolutely loved the house! It had everything we needed and had tons of character. Christine was super responsive to any questions or concerns, and she was so kind and understanding. We would absolutely stay here again!

My family of 4 enjoyed our stay in this quaint and quirky house. We loved the location having the amazing park just next door was so nice, my kids loved it. Even with the park it was on a quiet street. We also walked to restaurants and coffee shops. Such a convenient spot. The house was clean and stocked with all the necessities.I call this house quirky because of the varying heights of doorways do to the age of the home. Our family is quite tall so we had to be aware of that while we walked into certain spaces but that didn’t take away from our stay one bit.

Comfortable and charming coastal house that has everything you need for a great stay. Central to all the community has to offer without being on a busy street.Enjoyed the old coastal architecture and the eclectic interior design. 10 out of 10, would stay again! The Wednesday/Saturday market nearby is also a must visit and Christine gave helpful recommendations for local dining.

Our host was prompt with communication and the house was lovely when we arrived. One note of caution for other travelers is that the roof in the master bedroom is very slanted so it could pose a problem for individuals over 5’6”. My hubby is 6’ and bumped his head a few times. We ate in a few times during our stay and took advantage of the well stocked kitchen. I would totally stay here again!

Christine was a great host! She was super responsive to any message I sent - questions about check out, the house, recommendations for around town. The house was awesome! Lots of character and charm and very clean! Being so close to the playground was amazing and we would stay here again for that convenience over and over. The street is nice and quiet but also very close tot things, like the farmers market.

Christine keeps an immaculate home. It was extremely clean and had small personal touches so that it didn't feel like an ordinary vacation rental. It was conveniently located next to a playground which my two children used every day we were there. Her communication was top notch and she took the time to recommend many things for us to do. If we go back I will definitely be looking to book here again.

This is such a great place to stay in Chincoteague. The house blends the charm of its age with modern comforts. The owner has thought of everything. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need. And you can drink your morning coffee on either the front or back porch! Bonus for people with little kids - fabulous park right next door!

Clean and well appointed home. Everything we needed was there for us. The location is perfect. We walked to the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning, then took the short drive to Assateague Island to the beach. Our grandson loved the amazing park right next door. Communication with the owner was easy and her responses were prompt. We were even able to extend our visit an extra day.
