Great location, cute cottage. Perfect for our one night to horse show at the Miami Equestrian Center.

Property was lovely and so close to campus for a moms weekend. Comfy bed, cute kitchen and bath. Just right for 1 person visiting your student at MiamiOH. I will definitely book it again.

We had a wonderful stay on a unique historic property, with access to a pool and hot tub! Really doesn't compare to anything else available around Miami U!

Having access to a kitchen while visiting my daughter at college was awesome. The place was very clean and quiet. It was so close to the campus (about 1 mile) but felt like you were totally out in the country and away from the busy campus/uptown area.

Nice to have my own little studio with full kitchen, many windows, and pool access to entertain my grandchildren. Tom and Kathy are both helpful and friendly hosts.

It was a nice quiet little cottage, away from the busy uptown area, but yet very convenient for me traveling by myself for an event on campus and close enough to go back and forth quickly with no problem.

The host was super nice, and the ice house was cute and had everything we needed.

I loved this place! My dog and I had super bright and clean accommodations, and the host seemed welcoming. My favorite part was the series of paths that were mowed in the field adjacent to our cottage - my dog and I were able to get some much-needed exercise after a long drive, and I was so grateful for that. I would absolutely return to this spot again and again - it felt secure and was quiet. Oh - and the bed? Very comfy.

Comfortable studio, park at door, many windows, an outdoor pool and owners are right there if needed. The weather was so nice, I slept with the windows open

The property was beautiful and peaceful. The house was stocked with everything you could need. We appreciate that the air mattress was all set up and ready to use for our son. The pool and hot tub were very nice. We enjoyed walking to the pond and seeing the sunset. It was only an eight minute drive to get to everything and the views were nice. Would definitely recommend staying here. This is the only VRBO rental that didn't require us to do anything prior to checking out. We are used to taking out trash, pulling everything off the beds, etc. They told us not to worry about any of that. We appreciated that.

The Ice House was a charming, comfortable getaway just minutes outside of campus in Oxford. We enjoyed the lovely grounds, friendly communication with our hosts, even a relaxing soak in the hot tub! It was an excellent stay.

We used the property to its fullest for a first anniversary, 3 day weekend. We grilled & chilled...swam and soaked in the hot tub. It was a perfect weekend for our stay-cation! We will definitely be back. The hosts were wonderful to work with and very accommodating!

Have stayed here before and really looked forward to our return! Loved the location, which is close to Oxford, but still out in the country away from crowds. The cottage had everything needed for a few days stay, with full and complete kitchen, comfortable bathroom and perfect size living/bedroom area. Hosts are great and very accommodating. Close to Hueston Woods, as well! Will stay here again when we are in the area!

This cottage is so cozy and quaint. Wish we had more time to explore and utilize the amenities more. Great location, just a quick drive to campus. The plus was the charger available for EV charging. Would definitely stay here again.

The cottage is very clean and cute. The property is gorgeous. The pool was the perfect temperature and very clean. It was too hot to use the hot tub. There is a beautiful pond and the area was perfect for an early morning walk. Highly recommend this listing.

The hosts were very friendly and thoughtful. The property and cottage were very clean and well maintained. The trails were freshly mowed and easy to walk. A storm came through the 2nd evening and we lost power but only for a minute. They are also solar so the generator kicked on automatically and was actually very quiet. The pool was extremely clean and very relaxing. Would highly recommend for a couple get away especially if you have pets since they are pet friendly. It’s located in the country but close enough to town that restaurants deliver!

The house was amazing. The host was awesome and very accommodating. Had a great time fishing in the lake, everything was perfect. Highly recommended. Our travel plans got changed and they worked with us on the issue. Would stay here again.

This is a lovely place just outside of town on a beautiful peaceful farm. Kathleen was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The cottage is very sweet and comfortable with nice touches like snacks and kitchen basics.

This is such a cute property! Better than the pictures. So clean, comfortable, and cozy. It's more spacious than I anticipated and is very well appointed. Overall, it was great place to stay while in town to visit our kids at Miami!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The listing is very accurate, and the host and hostess are friendly and helpful! The hot tub was a big perk for us, and was located in a semi-secluded area, which was ideal. Overall a great time and we will look to stay here next time we are in the area!

3rd time staying. Love the quiet location just a few miles from campus. Also really enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and taking in the peacefulness of the serene atmosphere. Hostess is great to work with. My only suggestion is the mattress needs replaced. Would def stay again.

Our stay at this cottage was terrific. The ability to be in this terrific setting and still so close to town was ideal. The property was well taken care of, clean, and had everything you'd need whether you're in town for a game, going to the state park for a hike, or just looking for a getaway. The history of the property was great to learn about, and the cottage was quaint while still being modern and having everything you need. Will definitely be back!

Delightful stay in this great VRBO. Perfect location next to Hueston Woods, but close to Oxford. The pool and hot tub were very nice with floats, toys and a great table with umbrella. The Ice House had a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. The hosts were very accommodating and available. We will definitely return!!

We stayed one night while moving our son in for the fall semester at MU. The cottage is very cozy and comfortable and only about a mile from the campus on a very peaceful street. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a great place to stay in Oxford!! It was my husband and myself, our daughter stayed one night until we got her moved into her dorm. It was clean, close to town and so private, much better than staying at a hotel. The communication was immediate and the hosts were very friendly. We will definitely be back!! Thank you!

This was the 2nd time staying at the Ice House Cottage. We had another amazing & relaxing trip while vacationing to the area. It a nice place to unwind and relax. Tom & Kathy are wonderful hosts. I highly recommend their place!!!!

Checked in Wednesday evening , was supposed to check out Sunday but unfortunately we are on our way back home. :( We enjoyed our stay up until this afternoon (Friday). My wife and I were on our way out of the rental cottage, I had just shut the door when I see the owners dog come charging at my wife. He was viciously lunging at her, showing his teeth and barking. Thankfully the owner heard and stepped out of the barn to yell several times to get the dog to stop. We were warned upon arrival the dog is aggressive and protective of Kathleen. Usually he was behind the fence but today he was running freely, not on a leash. Please beware of him!!! I am still in tears and pretty shaken up.

For the price of an ok hotel room you can stay at this cute little cottage with pool and hot tub! Great deal. We really enjoyed our stay

Rental was lovely and very clean. Hosts were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. We had a great stay! My daughter loved saying hi to their dogs each day and seeing the deer in the nearby field!
