This was a very cozy cabin. We enjoyed the table fire, firepit on the hill and overall ambiance. Wild turkeys in the mornings. Just the peace and quiet was so peaceful.
The cottage was exactly as advertised. It had everything we needed except food. The available snacks were a nice welcome! Lost of clean fluffy towels and beds comfortable. The only drawback was the camera inside the cottage. It just felt strange even though is was not on. Maybe relocating it to the sun porch would be better. Definitely would recommend to others.
My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was fully stocked and clean. You only need to bring your clothes. The cottage is cute and comfortable inside and out. We did have a slight issue with the functionality of the shower. It was tight and you had to use the shower head by hand. We also weren’t comfortable with a camera inside the house. While we were told it was off we felt a better place would have been to sun porch. We were totally satisfied with our choice to stay there and would recommend the cottage to others. Thank you for your hospitality.
We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. It was very cozy…had everything we could possible need. From kitchen pots and pans to bedding and enough towels. It was very clean. Only problem was the bathroom……shower was a little small and was a little small to be able to fix our hair and do make up. I would recommend maybe mirrors in the bedroom. But other than that it was awesome! Thank you for a great time at your Cozt Cottage!
We were visiting a son over a long weekend. He is working at Bay View for the summer. Although we had to drive back and forth about 40 minutes, it was so much more affordable than anything I could find around the Petosky area. Vanessa and Dave always responded quickly to my emails and texts. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a very nice bunk bed, the lower bunk being either a double or queen size. Then in the den/TV room, there is a pull out couch which is a very tight fit but gives the option for two more sleeping spots. All bedding was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed sitting on the deck which is large. The owners provided plenty of snacks. We used the kitchen for some food prep, but mostly used the grill on the deck. Several of our adult children were with us so it worked out great for us. There are PLENTY of nice fluffy towels - something I rarely see in VRBO’s. We visited in the area: The Depot Ice Cream Cafe, McCormick Farmz lavender fields during their festival, Serendipity Farms (bought brats, cherries, and other produce). The only little drawback is the very tiny shower, and it is probably more os a drawback for women, probably men don’t care that much.
We were thankful to have had a place to rest our heads.
It was awesome!!! Perfect up north cabin located in distance from all our day trip destinations. It made for an amazing experience for our family. Dave and Vanessa did an awesome job! Thank you!
