Great cottage, very neat and enjoyable. Great beach view. Already looking to book again.

We had a great vacation at the cottage and enjoyed its cozy warmth and stunning views. This home is so well done: great, higher-end appliances, nice amenities throughout, very well-maintained and did I mention right on the beach! We really enjoyed this area of the Outer Banks as well. It's a bit more North than we usually stay, but we decided to try it and really liked the location. For a nice dinner and great drinks, we recommend Aqua in Duck. Thanks to Mark and Kim for their amazing cottage - definitely deserving of a 5-star rating.

Another wonderful stay at Lemonade Cottage! Very clean, well appointed kitchen, nicely decorated, very helpful and responsive hosts. And the beach never disappoints! We will book this property again and again.

Mike and Kim are always welcoming and willing to take care of any problems that may arise. They are quick to contact us with logistics and availability.

The weather was rough when we arrived—a nor’easter—but better by Wednesday. The house was cozy and charming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Our third stay at this cottage. It was great to be right on the beach and we both enjoyed the outdoor shower. Even with the wind and high surf from a hurricane passing to the south we never felt threatened.

My wife and I, plus the dog; have stayed here for many years, good weather and bad. Always a great stay, plenty to do when stuck inside and more to do when the weather is good. Located right on the beach and walking distance to several restaurants.

It was a beautiful week. The property was all I wanted. My only wish was that linens had been included. I would rent this property again.

We’ve stayed at this beautifully renovated old-fashioned cottage in Kitty Hawk for two years in a row, and it continues to be our favorite vacation spot. The charm of the home, combined with modern comforts, makes it a truly special place. The cottage is very comfortable and thoughtfully updated while maintaining its classic character.The ocean views are absolutely stunning—you can’t beat waking up and watching the waves from your porch. We also had the privilege of watching 4th of July fireworks from the porch. This year, we had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who were kind, welcoming, and extremely responsive when we had a minor refrigerator issue. They addressed it quickly and professionally, which we really appreciated.Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic, and memorable stay on the Outer Banks!

Very clean. My daughter loved the hammock. Beautiful views from all corners of the cottage. The kitchen was well equipped but the dishes could use an update. The welcome note and bottle of wine in the fridge was a very nice touch. Thank you Kim and Mark for a very comfortable and relaxing week!

The cottage was more than I expected! It is the perfect vintage beach cottage like in the movies. The home is updated but with a good ol’ comfortable feel. I loved it. The beach is so close with a view from almost every corner of the property. Kim and Mark kept in touch the entire time just checking to make sure there was nothing that needed attention. It was a great week and I loved every minute at the Lemonade Cottage.

We had a lovely post-holiday vacation relaxing in this classic ocean front cottage! It was very clean, comfortable, and the view was amazing! We saw dolphins playing in the ocean several times & the sunrises were spectacular! This was our second visit in the cottage & we’ll be back again!

the cottage was perfect for me, my wife and our two dogs. the only problem my wife had was navigating the sand dune and beach as the sand is very deep and your footing is difficult and she has some mobility issues.

It’s hard to find a nice small cottage on the oceanfront - but this is it! This is our third time staying here and we would have stayed more often if it was ever available! It is perfect for us and our small dog. The hosts communicate with you during the stay to make sure all is going well and even leave you a bottle of wine in the fridge!

Our favorite place. . as the family grows this year we had an 8 month old to experience Lemonade Cottage and the beach for the first time. Cottage has everything we need to relax and owner always available if there is any sort of issue. Clean, right on the beach and grandma can see the ocean while cooking!

Another summer at the Lemonade Cottage and another perfect week (despite the weather). Location is perfect; right on the beach allowing easy setup. The house is also walking distance to restaurants and ice cream. The house is always clean and the hosts are very welcoming. Can’t wait to continue the tradition and stay another week next year!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beachfront rental on the Outer Banks! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this house was a gem. The check-in process was a breeze, and we were immediately impressed by the cleanliness and charm of the home. The house itself is beautifully appointed, with a well-equipped kitchen that made meal prep a pleasure. We even appreciated having a vacuum available, which was a thoughtful touch. Communication with the owners was excellent throughout our stay. They were responsive and provided all the information we needed to make our vacation stress-free.
