Description

Church Cottage holiday home is a townhouse with 2 stories, in Ayr, just minutes from the town and the beach. The cottage is in a quiet courtyard next to one of our other properties, Dairy cottage, and behind St Columba’s church.

Set in a peaceful, residential area, Church Cottage has a grassy, enclosed walled garden with a patio and seating area. Inside you will find a modern kitchen with all of the essential equipment including a gas hob and electric oven, a microwave, washingmachine, and fridge-freezer.

The open plan lounge and dining room has a doors which open into a colourful sunny walled garden, with the church in the distance. In the dining area is a dining table with four chairs, the lounge area has two sofas and two armchairs. The room has a television, a small library, and a selection of toys and games. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a single bedroom. The bathroom upstairs has a shower. Outside there is private parking for two cars in the courtyard.

Church Cottage, Stable Cottage, Woodcroft cottage, and Dairy Cottage are all a few minutes’ walks apart, making them an ideal option for larger parties wishing to be in different cottages but still close together.

We actually stayed in the owners flat in Edinburgh. This was due to an error with the home away website - a common problem, since this was the 3rd property we found available which then turned out to be booked. We will not be using home away again! However, the property owners were helpful, friendly and amazing, letting us have another flat - which was in great condition and in a great location.
