Stayed Jan 5, 2024The cottage is absolutely adorable and very well stocked. John was very easy to communicate with and was easy to contact with any questions. This cottage sits off the back of the property so it was safe and quiet. It rained most of the time we were there so we did not get to enjoy the backyard and patio, but it was extremely inviting and looks like the perfect spot to sit under the night sky with a glass of wine. We would definitely stay here again. Shops, grocery, and restaurant choices all within short walking distance.

Stayed Dec 11, 2025The cottage and location were great. 1 quibble, the sliding door on the wardrobe did not allow me to access the drawers.1 problem, since there was no parking allowed in the driveway (totally understandable) I had to park the rental car on a side street. Someone side swiped it. So be careful where you park.I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Apr 26, 2025I stayed at the cottage for a few days as a little getaway. Everything about this stay exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect and the cottage is beautiful and very comfortable! John was very easy and quick to communicate with. I will absolutely be returning to stay again and highly recommend to anyone considering booking here!

Stayed Jan 15, 2025Cute place. Small but very nice. Coffee pot, but no coffee supplied. Parking was on a street away from the cottage. Great location for downtown and Myers Park area.

Stayed Oct 21, 2024The cottage was very clean inside…. We arrived in the fall, the outside needed some attention. The overall stay was wonderful. I had my 93 year-old mother-in-law with me. She loved it. John, was a wonderful host. Always got back to me promptly and was very kind.

Stayed Oct 27, 2024When we moved in we found that the unit was way to cold for us and the HVAC unit remote was not in the suite. I contacted the host 3 times, including the emergency phone number listed but never got a response. I ended up sleeping with 4 shirts, 2 pants and socks and ran the blow dryer all night just to stay still uncomfortable cold. My stay sucked due to freezing my ass off. This owner/manager talked like he cared but actually did NOTHING to meet our begging for heat! WORST VRBO EXPERIENCE WE EVER HAD!!!!

The space was just right for spending quality time together and walking distance to great dining and beautiful neighborhoods. Every inch of the cottage is charming and well crafted. There was literally nothing missing. Thank you for sharing.
