Charming Ventura Beach Bungalow on Prime Beach Lane in Pierpont by the Sea

This is a beautiful cottage just a block or so from the beach. It can accommodate 2-4 persons easily and has a futon for an extra bed. Everything in this house was beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The kitchen served us well with many amenities. It was a delight to stay here...... I highly recommend this property.

We had a great time! Perfect location - beach, food and drinks are steps away and the setup at the cottage is great. Very convenient that we had our own parking spot and there is a grocery store right around the corner.

We loved this place; it was conveniently located near beaches, shopping, and the docks for the Channel Islands. It was close to grocery stores and restaurants. We enjoyed walking to the beach to watch the sun set every day. There's also a cute Mini Golf/games park nearby. We weren't far from Santa Barbara to enjoy activities there. The host was friendly and helpful; I loved their story about how they came to this place. Very clean with comfortable beds and cozy living space. We came with our teen granddaughter, and we had plenty to do in the area to keep her entertained. I would certainly stay here again!

Very cute, well appointed beach cottage! Quick walk to the beach, shops and restaurants and convenient to downtown Ventura too.

We stay at this property when we visit family. Walkable to grocery, restaurants, and the beach.

Host weas very responsive when we had questions. Location was great for the area we wanted to visit.

Location was perfect. I few issues with the cleanliness of the house, lots of dust and cobwebs, the bathroom sink faucet needed to be replaced. We had to contact host for toilet paper (response was quick). For the cost of this rental, everything should have been a bit nicer.

We only used for sleeping and showering. Spent the majority of our time outside the home with family. Not a fan of exterior washer and dryer but not a deal breaker. This was our second stay at this unit. The first stay provided a little more accessories, like toilet paper and shower soap. The soap dispenser was empty and we were given one roll of toilet paper for a weeks stay. Don’t mind buying my own. When flying, prefer to limit my liquids. Otherwise. All good. Very nice hostess. Walkable to the beach, groceries and restaurants.

Wonderful location just steps to the beach! Took walks every morning to the pier. very comfortable house with lots of kitchen, amenities, and coffee too.Highly recommend!

My girls were over the moon for the Mermaid Cottage! A few minute walk to the beach. Owner lives next door so easy to communicate. I would like to visit again with friends.

My daughter and I absolutely loved staying here. Very short walk down the lane to the beach. People were so friendly and it felt safe. This location was close to my Ventura family. Little scary for us when the fires started in Ventura but there was a quick response to put them out.Beds were comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. LOVED the candy jar-we love Smartees.We could have walked to a few stores but didn’t need to. I do recommend this property.

We loved walking to the beach and restaurants, the cottage was comfortable, thoughtfully appointed and nicely decorated. We would definitely stay at the Merry Mermaid again!
