Charming, period cottage located just off the vibrant high street of Deal with a gorgeous garden!

The Writer´s Cottage was perfect! Good walking distance to every of our favoured destinations (the ocean, station, parking, Pepper´s organic shop, cafe´s & delis at the high street, supermarket...), the kitchen is very well equipped, in general the cosy house is beautifully decorated. We had a lovely time - could not have been better. The Keepers Team is outstanding: Helpful and kind and curates the best properties to stay in at the Kentish Coast.

The weather was perfect, the location is perfect, but Writers Cottage is in dire need of renovation. Unfortunately, the property no longer lives up to the description on the website. The team at Keepers Cottage did their utmost to resolve all the issues, and we can only praise them. Fortunately, the weather was beautiful, so we spent a lot of time outdoors and didn't have to spend much time indoors. Deal is and remains a wonderful place to stay, and the week flew by. But we won't be renting Writers Cottage again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Writer's Cottage. We loved the features and particularly the beautiful garden. The owners had gone over and beyond providing things like crockery, condiments etc. Very easy to get to anywhere in Deal from here as central position. A couple of cracks here and there, but the character of the cottage more than made up for that. We'd certainly come back.

Sadly we have found another Keepers Cottage property which is quite tired and in need of some tlc. Also would have been nice to know about the basement toilet being a macerator - unpleasant smell at times Sadly we won’t be using keepers cottages again.

Great for a weekend stay and we loved the proximity to the beach and town.

This is a lovely cottage, wonderful for families and really well located. Would wholeheartedly recommend!

Great communication from the team at Keepers Cottages. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the heart of Deal with our greyhound. Visited many times before and this property is right in the heart of town with bars, restaurants, and the beach within a few minutes walk. Perfect for our dog with a secure, fully enclosed rear garden and the high street is just at the bottom of the road. Comfortable and warm with well equipped kitchen and upstairs and downstairs w.c. Parking is always at a premium but we managed easily between street parking across the road and parking on the sea front. A great place to stay!

we have rented a holiday home through Keepers cottage a number of times and it has been a pleasant surprise every time. Writers cottage is in a quiet location yet with all the fun things Deal has to offer just around the corner. You are in the center in no time and the beach is just a few minutes away. Writers cottage was perfectly clean and very pleasantly furnished. Add to that the fact that there is a nice garden where it is pleasant to stay on hot days. Or just start the day with a cup of coffee in the morning. Every morning a little squirrel came to take a look in the garden, and it's just nice that a holiday home is so complete. Highly recommended to rent again for a relaxing holiday

Very well equipped kitchen, the whole place is very clean. Comfy beds and lovely downstairs bathroom and convenient loo and sink upstairs. On 3 floors so plenty of space in this cottage. Enclosed garden - so great for dogs.

The cottage was perfect for a little getaway. Well equipped and cosy with a great location.
