Charming Lakeside Cottage

A last minute change happened and host was gracious and answered quickly! Our stay was GREAT!

Mireto’s cottage provided a wonderful respite for my family while we spent time in Lakeside. The rooms in the cottage are much larger than they appear in the photos, which was an unexpected bonus. I appreciated all of the little details, such as a serving tray for food and extra laundry detergent in case I forgot mine. I highly recommend this cottage! Thanks, Mireto!

My family and I (2 adults and 4 kids: Ages 7, 5, 3 and 18 months) stayed here and couldn’t haven’t wanted anything more! The rooms were nice, the space was amazing, and we had everything we would want! They had puzzles and games the kids could play already there. It is close to the pool and is also on a dead end which made for minimal traffic! We loved this place! Highly recommend for a family stay!

Caution to anyone wanting a nice getaway! Upon arriving the house was dirty. We did our own cleaning but also gave the owners (a LLC) feedback about the dirty house, overgrown weeds, and the worst part - very loud construction just feet away. Google maps shows an empty lot next door - nope! It's now a 2 story house under construction. There were up to 3 trucks there at a time and it was almost impossible to sit on the screened in porch. When we returned to the house we even had to ask them to move a truck so we could park! My getaway was finally cut short by 3 nights because it was all so annoying. The owners would not provide any type of a partial refund. I only asked for something for the days cut short and was not asking for any type of compensation for the other issues. While this cottage has such potential, there are so many rentals in Lakeside in far better condition and without construction right next door. (The owners told us we should have walked over and asked the workers to stop working, which is absolutely not right)Lakeside itself is an adorable, safe community.

It was so relaxing and sweet getting my mother and her sister together. And my sister, my cousin and myself celebrating our birthdays and enjoying each others company away from the big city noise. The perfect girls-trip.

Very nice cottage. We also loved our mornings and evenings on the front porch. Really appreciated having the ability to be flexible with the stay.
