Charming Lakefront Mountain Cabin

Fabulously cozy and comfortable lake chalet. Well appointed without being cluttered with nic-nacs. The owner was very responsive. We would definitely stay there again !

We enjoyed our stay so much! We only stayed 2 nights, and were really sad to leave. I had never heard of Mill Spring before, but fell in love with the cabin when I saw the pictures on Vrbo. And believe me I wasn't disappointed. The cabin was beautifully decorated and so clean. It is so cozy and welcoming. The area is so nice, and close to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. There is a cute little covered bridge & and creek close by for fishing. 100% recommend this place. You'll love it!

This place is perfect, the cabin was truly lovely with a beautiful view of the lake. Very clean, tidy and well appointed, the kitchen had everything we needed for a Thanksgiving dinner. Amy the host was an email away and responded timely.

Beautiful view very relaxing, The place is very charming and has everything that you might need. We got to see some leaves changing and cooler weather and enjoyed the fireplace.

Our host was wonderful, answered on my questions, sent us things to do, points of interest, the property was impeccably clean, well appointed, has beautiful views and is absolutely wonderful!!!

Absolutely great place to stay

Loved our stay! Probably the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in… you could eat off the floor! (Not that we did… lol) Lake view was wonderful. Loved to sit on the back porch and relax. Fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs, plus a grill out back. The scenic drive to the house through the neighborhood was also wonderful. 10/10 would come back again for sure

Absolutely wonderful, the cabin was stocked, more than any rental we have had, the road was a challenge, but once at the cabin, beautiful and relaxing overlooking the lake, i look forward to my next visit

There is a great Ingles grocery store in Lake Lure that is a 25 minutes drive one way on two lane mountain roads. Definitely recommend stocking up before you arrive because once you get to this fabulous lakefront cabin, you are not going to want to leave. We are looking forward to returning next year.

What an awesome get away chalet!!!

This cabin is just as described. It felt like we were right at home. The bed was comfy. Kitchen was stocked with all the cooking items you would need--we did cook a few meals here. We also checked out several of the local restaurants and towns. We enjoyed several evenings on the enclosed deck--it was just so nice to sit and listen to nature and be lost in your thoughts. The neighborhood is beautiful. There is a cabin next door that can be rented as well--we talked about having our kids/grandkids coming down to the area on another vacation. I would rate this as one of the best stays we've ever had thru a VRBO rental. I will definitely keep this one on my favorites list for a possible future stay.

Amazing property and felt right at home!

Beautiful views from the deck and screened porch, well stocked, and great place for a weekend getaway. Considering returning - though next time will bring inflatable kayaks or paddle boards to take advantage of the cool water from the boat launch right down the street. Overall, great place!!

The cabin was perfect, clean and cozy with the best view. We used to stay next door and find this place very sentimental. The owner provided everything that was needed, including coffee and linens. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and really peaceful environment. I would be happy to go.back

We fell in love with the cabin! The lake is so peaceful.. far away from people but not to far you can't have food delivered! 10 out of 10 would stay agin!
