Charming Intown Cottage – The Ultimate Walkable Getaway steps from Downtown!

My husband and I visited St. Michael’s for our 20th anniversary. This cottage was exactly what we were looking for. It is central located so we were able to walk everywhere. The cottage had everything you would need to have a fabulous stay. The town is charming and the people are just as charming and welcoming.

It’s a cute house in a good location. I got to check in early which was nice. Compared to other places I’ve stayed, it just didn’t feel as welcoming. There are a few nits: 1.) Listing says it comes with toilet paper but there was less than a half roll in each bathroom. Had to leave and go get more. 2.) I had expected to be able to watch live TV given the listing indicates cable but it was not functioning. I was there for a half Ironman so I wasn’t really in town to go out a lot and wanted to stay in and relax before the race. The owner contacted the provider but nothing materialized. So, 3 days no TV. 3.) At 6:45 a.m. the day I was departing the cleaning service showed up. It was kinda a bummer because I had done the race the day before and was enjoying a quiet/relaxing morning. I told her I would be gone in an hour or so but she still came in, stripped the beds and started doing laundry. At that point I just loaded my things and left. It was weird to have a stranger come in the house while I was still there, and I didn’t invite her in.

We travel to St. Michaels every year for the wine festival. This was the perfect location to enjoy all that downtown St. Michaels has to offer.

Property is absolutely gorgeous and the location was incredible for the seaglass festival. It is so close to all the restaurants and bars and of course the quaint little shops. I hope to stay there again.

Perfect spot to walk & enjoy town, with plenty of enough space to allow 2 couples to spread out. House layout is perfect for family or friend gatherings- especially open living room/kitchen and the with fenced in backyard with chairs, table and fire-pit.

We had an awesome stay with a group for a weekend wedding. Super close to farmers market and downtown amenities of St. Michaels. The property and the house were perfect for our stay. Great backyard sitting area. Would highly recommend for a family or small group.

We loved our stay at this home. The beds were comfortable, everything was immaculate and the location was perfect. We were walking distance to everything and will stay here again if we come back to St. Michael’s.

This clean and cute property is within walking distance (2 blocks) to the main downtown area of St. Michaels. We ran the half marathon during our stay, which ended on the street behind the house, and enjoyed the shops and restaurants during our stay. The owners were friendly and helpful, and all the check-out instructions were noted on the refriderator. Very easy and relaxing stay!

We were in town for a wedding and were so pleased with this rental! It was clean, looked just like photos and an ideal location to downtown. We definitely recommend this home in St. Michaels!
