Overall, we had a positive experience staying at this rental. The property was clean, well decorated, and comfortable for my husband and I to share. It's location on a main road and proximity to Lake George made it convenient to get to the heart of town quickly. However, the parking instructions were extremely particular and strict. The kitchen did not offer any essentials for guests, like coffee filters for the machine they offered or basic condiments. The checkout instructions offered by the management group that runs this property did not match the property itself, which made for a confusing experience at the end of our stay. Now that we know what to expect, we'd be happy to stay again, but our first impression left us with more surprises than we had anticipated.

The cottage was beautiful and clean and looks exactly as pictured. We had an amazing stay, the cottage was very close to the town of Bolton landing and only a 15 min drive to the town of Lake George. To all those who said the parking was odd, they literally tell you how and where to park in the instructions and the neighbors were fine and friendly! Not sure what other people’s issues were but we had none.The only thing I will say is that the top lock on the door does not work properly and we struggled a lot. Those definitely need to be changed. But overall, we had a beautiful stay and would definitely rent here again :)!

When we arrived, I read the check in instructions and could not locate the lockbox. I called and was kn the pgone with Vacasa when my boyfriend found it nowhere near where the instructions said it was. We had to play with all the switches to figure out which one went to what light. Google nest didn't even work because it said no batteries. I text the local representative and never heard from her the entire 4 day stay. We ended up going out and buying the batteries ourselves. The TV was ridiculous. You have to google cast to it, which we were able to do once I searched on the internet to figure out how. The wifi network ans password were backwards in the instructions. DVDs were left there but we didn't find a DVD player anywhere. The toilet ran on and off all weekend. We were only given 4 towels , for 2 people for 4 days. Even though there's a washer/dryer in the cottage, you cannot use it. The binder for instructions said to pit harbahe in outside bins, but we didn't see any anywhere. If we were staying there and not visiting places in the area everyday, this would have been a 0 star. Its cute but needs a lot of help to be a good rental. Also, route 9N is very busy and loud all hours of the night. May be some sound barrier curtains could help.

Instructions for finding the key were wrong, parking and anxiety about parking was alot. Tv did not work. Place was clean and looked like the pictures

Vrbo- please, please, please take this property off your vacation rentals. We never had a bad experience with any properties that we rented off of your site until now. This property is managed by Vacasa. They're terrible. I tried to communicate with them a week before we left on a parking question. Not one person got back to me. Then when we get there there were missing amenities, and we tried to rectify that problem and we're told that a local team would get back to us. No one got back to us. So I had to keep calling every day and then we're told that the amenities that were missing weren't listed, which was a farce. And when I told her that, yes they were kisted, she hung up on me. I truly do not think a local team exists because no one got back to us. When we tried to resolve the issues, we were having via text message, I received snarky comments. So please stop losting rentals from Vacasa.

Very clean cute place. Rustic pine board interior is quaint. In general, we enjoyed our stay (we were in the area for a family event) but were not there to be on the lake. It was a little noisy due to being about 15 feet from a major road (Rt 9N) but quieted down some by the time we went to bed.

We loved famiglias deli down the road. Awesome breakfast sandwiches! The owner was very nice

The home was beautiful, but be aware it can be very challenging to open the lock on the exterior doorknob. If I hadn't read the other reviews mentioning that they either couldn't open it, or had an incredibly hard time, I would have given up and gone to a hotel.

I am thoroughly impressed with this property. It's incredibly clean, and in a great location to be close to the lake and the restaurants/shops of Bolton Landing. We had an amazing time detaching from the stresses of reality by playing the many games provided in the home, and relaxing. If you look at older reviews, they mention the small parking space, which is valid, however, myself and my partner had no issues parking my small SUV in that space. Also similar to other comments, we were unable to utilize the TV/chromecast in the bedroom at all. It is notable that, though the pictures for the property show Adirondack chairs next to a lake, this property is not within walking distance to a public lake access point, and you cannot see Lake George from the property. A perfect stay for up to two people as long as you are willing to drive to be able to spend time at the lake.

Went to a wedding close by and the place is really nice and comfortable...everything you would want in a small compact area...the parking could be better with very limited space for one car....

Having never been to Lake George before, we didn’t know what to expect. The house is a clean, cozy little place that was close enough to beaches and the cute town of Bolton Landing. We did not use the neighborhood beach but went to the larger park on our beach day and that was only a few miles away. The restaurants in town were great and so are the shops. We enjoyed having our space so close to the downtown yet far enough away that it was quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

my daughter and I arrived at the rental and had issues with the neighbors in the driveway while trying to park in the very specific parking space provided. Neighbors made comments of using their private driveway to try and park in the space provided. When we returned the second time to the rental, the code did not work and we were not able to open the rental. Was given the wrong key box code for a physical key to open the deadbolt. We were not able to enter the rental and spend the night there. Washer and dryer are shown in the rental pictures, but are not available when you arrive. TV in the bedroom does not have any channels or streaming apps three out of four DVDs provided horror movies. We thankfully had other people staying in the area and were able to use their amenities when these were lacking. Overall the rental is cute, but would be lacking if you depended on these things

should never be a Vrbo. Where do I start. electronic door locks wouldnt work, sign told us we couldnt use washer/dryer, had tape over front porch lite switch so couldnt se to try and unlock door, useless kitchen utensils, no micro, only tv was in the bedroom and it didnt have stations, just chromecast(which we didnt have).......ect. But it was clean

This property was advertised under lake category (since our complaint it now isn't and shouldn't be). It didn't disclose that the lake is a public, 1st come, first access point down a busy highway from the house with constant traffic and a narrow shoulder. Very disappointed upon arrival. Tried to discuss with host and it was near impossible, even after 2 hours (we had to climb a corporate ladder to get to anyone who makes decisions). The local host was quick to text and responsive but not able to help in the matter of requesting a refund for not disclosing this was a 1st come lake access (until we arrived). The lot is very tight - no outdoor room at all (other than small porch overlooking the close neighbors house). Later reading other reviews, the neighbors seem to be kind of nosey - it makes sense why all the restrictions are in place for how and where to park and you can't bring a truck, etc. and quiet hours.

Perfect place away from the strip, so clean and well taken care of. I'd live there forever honestly.
