Charming cottage on North Norfolk coast

Everything exceeded expectations. Well equipped holiday home in a great location for exploring North Norfolk. Comms from host exactly as you’d expect and we immensely enjoyed our week in Sloe Gin Cottage.

As soon as we walked in we felt at home. Cottage had everything we need. Very well equipped. Location was good.The Sloe Gin was a nice touch !!

The cottage is beautiful and very well equipped, the kitchen had everything you could ever need. It was very peaceful and quiet, just the place for a relaxing weekend break.Pubs, shops and takeaways all within walking distance.Garden was lovely and caught the sun both in the morning and late afternoon.Messages with the hosts, Nicky and Raj, were answered promptly and informative - many thanks

I impulsively booked a solo getaway for myself and couldn't have stumbled upon a more perfect place to escape! This place was exactly as described, and had all the charm and peaceful quiet I was looking for. The visitor guidebook that Nicky and Raj provided was so helpful and brought me to explore additional places nearby I didn't know about. Their guidance and communication for the check-in and check-out process was very smooth also. I can't brag about my stay enough - if you stay here, you'll wonder when you'll be lucky enough to visit again!

Really lovely stay at Sloe Gin Cottage. Fantastically placed within the lovely village of Heacham. Nicky and Raj have really thought of everything to make your stay a real home from home. Will definitely will be back again!

Very welcoming comfy cottage. Exceptional well-equipped kitchen, quality items, everything you could need. Comfy beds and much appreciated welcome package. Only downside is access to parking - could benefit from dropped kerb plus we had a car parked across the road all the time we stayed, making access a little difficult. However, overall a recommended stay.

We booked a 3 night stay on a bank holiday weekend without any elevated costs- brilliant! The cottage is beyond charming-the layout is sublime and it’s definitely what I’d call a chef's kitchen, where we spent most of our time- round the table meals and evening board games meant quality time (rare with teens!) Our two dogs were easily accommodated and loved having the run of an ample downstairs. If anything I’d say that the photos don’t do enough justice to the sheer space, airiness, and overall comfort. The beach was just a short walk away down what we have named “duck alley”! It was easy to stretch our legs, play on some 2p machines, eat some chips and watch stunning sunsets. This is an absolute treasure of a find with great hosts in contact throughout. Will return.
