Charming cottage in great neighborhood...close to downtown, fort and university

The kitchen was equipped for us to make dinner there. It was a beautiful home, near shops and dining. The neighborhood was beautiful and neighbors walking were nice.

Truly charming. The cottage was a lovely place to stay. Exceptionaly clean, comfortable beds, and such beautifully detailed decor were a few of my favorite things about it.

Beautiful cottage- in s great area of Columbia and close to downtown! Only complaint was the bathroom- its super small (smaller sink might help). Other than that its an adorable and well decorated place!!

I loved the cottage, the host responded quickly and it was easy to book. Everything I needed was there, and I had a wonderful stay!! I gave it 4 only because there was really really musty smell throughout the entire house the whole time I was there, it smelled like a Goodwill store. I understand there are a lot of antique books and furniture there, but the smell never left even after using spray and trying to air it out. All the bed sheets and towels smelled like it too, I couldn’t escape it. All my clothes and hair kept the smell and it was noticeable to others. Embarrassing. I have severe asthma, but thankfully that was unaffected. Aside from that, thank you for a wonderful stay.

Was such a charming home, like other reviews mentioned. Great location, and in a nice neighborhood. Enough space for 3 adults. My spouse and I slept in the Queen bed room, and my sister slept in the Full bed room. My bed was flat and soft with plenty of quilts and covers to choose from. It jiggled whenever we moved, so it was an exercise in not waking each other up. But the house was quiet and cool and homey. It had all the kitchen items we needed to make meals, with a big dining table. It was nice to relax on the sofa in the evenings. The bathroom was small but that goes along with old homes. My brother in law would be too big and tall to stay there, but for me being smaller, it was wonderful. Would stay again.

The home is cozy, beautiful and well appointed. The owner is very attentive and responsive. We drove almost 18 hours and were arriving very late so she made sure all the lights and heater was on for us for when we arrived. Wonderful host and person. Have a great stay!

Whimsical cottage. We loved everything about it! The home was perfectly imperfect. Host was great to communicate with and we just loved the decor. So many wonderful details and everywhere we looked made us smile. Absolutely adorable!

Charming cottage full of eclectic items that lead to conversations and intrigue. Nice outdoor spaces to use when the weather is nice and bugs are down. Very quiet location, but a quick drive to downtown and USC. Hosts are wonderful communicators as well. Easy check in process via VRBO app. Kitchen is well appointed, all it needs is a toaster. Bathroom has mid century charm, but could use a little work - all clean and functional. Would stay here again!

The house was really run down and in desperate need of maintenence. Worst part was the bathroom and plumbing. The mattress was old and sagged in the middle. The sheets had holes in them.

My sister and a friend stayed at the cottage and explored antique and thrift stores. Great location for food and shopping. After a full day of retail therapy, we relaxed and played cards on the beautiful dining room table. The owner has a true gift for decorating and the house was very clean. This is our 2nd time renting there and look forward to a 3rd.

Very charming house thank you for the hospitality very cozy place

A little challenge to find the house since the hostess gave us the wrong address by accident. All was good. We loved the cottage. Location was great!

This is a great cozy house to stay. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We visited the area to go to Fort Jackson and it was only 10 minutes away. Would definitely stay again.

The property is gorgeous! The backyard is like a fairy garden and is fenced in. There are little touches everywhere that are just gorgeous. The light that comes in during the day is so pretty. if there was one downside, it was the storage there is a lot of storage there. It’s just that’s already got stuff in it, but that was so insignificant compared to this day itself, and the host The host was absolutely incredible. She was so attentive and accommodating. I really have not met a nicer host in my entire life.

The cottage was ok to stay in. However it should have been about half the cost. The bathroom was really unacceptable. Don't trust the pictures. The toilet and sink almost touch each other. The cottage smelled musty. The kitchen was under equipped and most of the cookware that we took out to cook with was dirty. We had to go out and buy a scrubby as owner did not provide. The owner should consider lowering their nightly rate to about 1/2 the price.

Loved this little cottage that is exactly as advertised! My mom and I were attending my son's graduation at Fort Jackson, which is so simple to get to from the cottage. We loved looking at the owner's vast collection of books. It was obvious that she takes pride in this lovely home. The neighborhood is adorable. I only wish we had more time to explore it. I would absolutely return!

We stayed at this cozy cottage for one night during a bike race. Everything was perfect! Hots was amazing and allowed us to have an early check-in and return to pick up items that we forgot :) 5/5 stars!

Perfect for our stopover

We came for our daughter’s 21st birthday, she is a student at USC. Cottage is cute, lots of trinkets in house. Mattresses were a little uncomfortable. Great location and nice neighborhood
