Charming Coastal Cottage 5 Minute Drive to Wells Beach

The cottage was impeccably clean and equipped with everything you need and more. Listing was accurately described and not a thing was out of place. Lovely little community. Excellent location. Weather was perfect.

Clean, well equipped, everything needed for week stay. Have stayed in several other units at this location and my wife liked this one the most. Look forward to renting again in the future.

Overall nice place to stay in regards to quietness of neighborhood, pool and rec room usage, kitchen amenities, washer/dryer. We really like the sun room which ended up being the kids main playroom. Only complaint was when we got there the floor was really dirty. I had to vacuum and sweep when we got there which was a bummer after a long day of driving.

Our second stay and it was just as delightful as our first! Cottage is so clean, so well appointed. Even small details like having plenty of hooks for wet towels makes this cottage a great place to stay. It’s a truly great property and the pool/community is wonderful.

We had a nice week here. The home has everything you could imagine needing! It is close to everything, nice pool/recreation area and the grill was very useful. Communication with the host was responsive and helpful. The only downside for us was the smell when we walked in the first day that lasted a few days. Thankfully it was nice outside and we were able to open all the windows. We shared our concerns and the host was responsive. To us it smelled a dog (and my allergies confirmed that night that it was) and there was a dog bed in the living room and dog toys outside. She said guests are not allowed animals but owners are but she didn’t think the owner had been there. It was our mistake to think no pets meant pet free. It is a beautiful home that is very well appointed in a fantastic community. Thank you!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay! There was everything we need and even more. The cottage is so spacious! We loved to relax at the pool at the end of a warm beach day. Gisele was very helpful and made sure everything was perfect.

As represented in the listing. Very well maintained cottage that had the feeling of home to it. Without a doubt this cottage is at the very top of our list of future decisions for our stays in Maine!

This property is beautiful. It is located in a small gated community. The host was very responsive and checked in to see that we had all we needed. We had a fun and relaxing time.

This cottage exceeded our expectations. The decor is so nicely done and it is as clean as the pictures portray. We’ve stayed at a few cottages in the area over the years and this was by far our favorite. It had everything our family of four could need. There was plenty of room for us to spread out, especially in the kitchen/dining area. Just a short walk to the pool. You can tell the community amenities are well maintained and everyone was very friendly. Would definitely return to this property.

The accommodations were spot on. The esthetics were great and every amenity was provided.

The cottage and Summerscape community are beautiful. This is a great place to stay if you enjoy peaceful evenings close to the beach and restaurants.

This Summerscape cottage was a wonderful place for our family’s week in Southern Maine! The cottage is very clean, beautifully decorated, and so well stocked. The location is excellent - quiet but close to beaches, town centers, and other attractions. The host was communicative and helpful. We look forward to another visit and highly recommend to others.
