'Les Hortensias' is in the heart of the Loire Valley, between Blois and Tours, just 2 miles from the River Loire. Most of the major Royal Castles are located within a 20-30 minute drive of the property and the International Garden Festival at Chaumont-sur-Loire is just 10 minutes away, cycling distance!
'Les Hortensias' is located on the outskirts of the village of Monteaux, just a 10 minute walk or a two minute bike ride from the village centre with its traditional bar/café, boulangerie, general store, butcher's, post office and hairdressers: ideally positioned for tranquillity and practicality.
To the front of the property there is ample parking for up to two cars and one of the two outdoor areas reserved for the property.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two full size single beds, a bathroom with a vanity unit, a shower room with a vanity unit and a separate toilet between the two.
To the front of the property there is a private garden with shrubs, a wooden table and chairs, large parasol and barbecue leading to a further private garden and then to the large main garden with the heated swimming pool (10m x 5m), open from mid-May until the end of September. There are various outdoor games to entertain all age groups - badminton, boules/pétanque ground, croquet, tennis table.
