Sweet old Butler home has been thoughtfully remodeled but retains all its charm--9 foot ceilings, some original wood floors, 2 king bedrooms and 2 full baths. Covered porches with sofa and rocking chairs and fenced yard--pet friendly (dogs only) Sunshades for porch areas. Sleeps 4 adults and has a very comfortable daybed with trundle for up to 2 kids. Easy parking, no winding roads. I mile from Cove Ridge Marina for boat rentals or bring your own--there is room for a vehicle with trailer to park and the closest public boat access is a half mile away, just behind Bay View campground. Home has Spectrum WIFI and 3 Smart TV's for your streaming needs. But there are plenty of outdoor activities year round, from fishing/boating/swimming on Watauga Lake to hiking trails and other great towns just a short drive away--Abingdon VA, Johnson City TN, Bristol, Elizabethton for shopping, dining and entertainment.

What a wonderful stay at the cottage in Butler. We had a 3 day stay. What a BEAUTIFUL area with the lake nice and close. The drive to town for groceries is a nice drive along the lake. The home was amazing! The instructions were very well accessible for check in and check out. Easy to find and park. Friendly neighbors. It was great to sit on the porch and unwind. Fully stocked with everything we needed plus more. We truly enjoyed the stay and we will be back next year! From ct!
