Charming 1950's Cottage Steps from the Lake

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage! What a beautiful home!! Thank you for sharing it with us!

We stayed for a little over a month and wanted to extend but Suzi was booked so we booked another place for another month close by. The 2 hosts are night and day! Suzi is one of a kind!!! I feel like she is a friend now! Very communicative and accommodating. The house is unique and charming and close to the lake and walking paths which my husband and I love!! If you like trails, there are more trails across the main street behind Towers Tap House. She has laminated cards so you will know where everything lives which is very helpful. Home decor is great, which you wouldn't think is a big deal, but coming to a home without those special touches makes it feel a little less like home. AND Suzi had a Christmas tree put up since we were there over Christmas!!! I can't say enough about how great our stay was! Just book it, you wont be dissapointed.

The host was fantastic. Left us a treat and even a baby toy for our new grand baby! She responded right away when we needed help with the lock. It had everything we needed. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

The hosts were very responsive and offered way more than expected. We loved the comfort and location of this home. We brought the family for an event (everyone enjoyed their stay), and the dogs enjoyed being able to walk to the lake! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us. The property was great. Extremely clean and had most everything we needed in the kitchen. We were in town for a cooking competition so we had brought some specialty items with us.The property had more amenities that were listed. Will definitely recommend to friends coming to the area.

This was our home for a month while our house was being remodeled. It was perfect for us. It is spacious with comfortable beds and abundant kitchenware - there was nothing extra we needed. The appliances are high-end, and the house is very clean. We really enjoyed the front porch swing. Suzi's communication is great, and she is very hospitable. I highly recommend this property for short or long stays.

Nice place, location is great. Everything you need is walking distance fishing, swimming and food. Very clean!!

Our family owned this house for the 5 years before Suzi transformed it into this CUTE rental. So many upgrades! What a treat to get to stay in our old house!The property is LOVELY - so relaxing! Amazing to be in a little slice of country right in the middle of town! And Suzi thought of everything - very well stocked. Kitchen tools, platters, wine glasses, etc. Loved that the tv was portable - great way to have an at home date night and let the kids sleep. The park 1/8 of a mile from the house is SUPER fun too. They showed outdoor movies while we were there and had a farmer's market! Also enjoyed the front porch sitting - the birds are beautiful!

Very inviting, able to relax and just enjoy our stay. We came into town for church & to visit family. Perfect place away from the busy city but close to everything. Hidden gem I’d say. Had everything you would need for a short or long stay. Kids enjoyed the games & mermaid room. Beds were comfy and house was cold just right for Tx temps. Outside had nice areas to relax and just enjoy the wooded view.

We had to get out of our house for an open house weekend and the home was so accommodating for our 2 dogs and daughter they had everything they needed plus fun extras that made the staycation special

We can’t wait to come back! Suzi has curated such a wonderful space. We had such a great time celebrating my best friend’s 40th! The Christmas decor was so cute and the entire house was just so warm and inviting! It didn’t feel like a stale and cold vacation spot. It felt like we were staying at a friend’s lake house! Loved it so much!

No, it wasn’t a typo. Not only was my stay AMAZING, but the home was actually perfect for maxing out what we needed. The kitchen is grand, and stocked with all the dishes you may need. The bathrooms, especially the primary, are spacious and comfortable but efficiently decorated. The bedrooms offer comfort and style. And the two open areas do a great job of keep the focus on the other people in the home!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this cutest house ever. From the moment we arrived we were charmed by the cozy atmosphere. The decor is absolutely adorable, adding a lovely touch to our gathering and Trailer Swift was an added bonus. This house is truly perfect for small gatherings like ours. My friends and I came out for a birthday weekend getaway and this was the perfect spot! It was so close to everything yet felt tucked away and private. The house is very clean and the decor is so cute! It definitely felt like home away from home. We took the short walk down the trail and floated in the lake with our paddle boards. Then for dinner we got dressed up and took an Uber to a winery nearby (great recommendation by the host). The pizza and wine - delicious!
