It was a great experience to actually stay in a 16th century building. Genevieve furnished it with period furniture but with a modern Kitchen. We really came for a week of Chartres Cathedral so it was really lovely to stay in such a beautiful place.

The apartment was absolutely perfect. Clean, spacious, well equipped with excellent quality towels, bedding etc. Just 400 metres from Chartres cathedral in the protected area of the city, this wonderful historic holiday accommodation has been charmingly modernised without losing any of its character. The owners have put so much care into creating a perfect environment with many welcome and thoughtful extras such as milk, bread, butter, chocolate, flowers etc. We loved every minute spent here and didn't need to take the car anywhere during our week's stay as there is so much to see in Chartres.
