Cedar Cottage - Kelleys Island (Lake Erie) Vacation Retreat

On my end of the post I did not see the details of bringing your own linens. The owner did message two days prior about needing linens and I over looked it. Although they did not specify in their message what size but I could have looked back at the post. Kind of a hassle in my mind and two days prior didn’t give a lot of time to prep if I woulda caught it. People Typ have pretty busy lives and are packing and getting things squared away before they leave. Also bring boots along. Their driveway gets flooded with rain. Otherwise had a good stay. It’s not a fisherman friendly house. I would not plan to stay if that’s your intent.

Our family enjoyed this property and will hopefully stay here again. The house was nicely equipped with amenities. We enjoyed the outside area, fire pit, and grill.

The property was comfortable and equipped for a rainy day during our visit. Our dog owners were happy with the pet-friendly floors. We also enjoyed the outdoor fire pit our first evening at the cottage. It was nicely located on the island and within close proximity of many of our favorite restaurants, beaches and activities.

The cottage was clean and neat. Furniture was NOT garage sale quality! We loved the seclusion and amenities were a quick drive. At first I questioned having to bring our own bed linens and towels but then understood with the water situation. I can understand the stress of a washer and dryer. This home away from home is a bargain!

The cottage was perfect for our surprise, sisters trip. There is plenty of indoor seating, kitchen ware & outdoor patio space. Beds were comfortable and the house maintained it's cool temps throughout the stay. We greatly appreciated the privacy and ability to sit outside and visit without feeling like we were disturbing the neighbors. Thank you for sharing your home!

We had such a great time here at Kelley’s Island. It was very relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed the fire pit proved on the property. It was secluded and quiet. Perfect weekend get away!

Cedar Cottage is a great location and quiet area. It had everything my family needed.

Was pleased with rental. Was perfect for our gathering. Very comfortable. Could use some updated board games though.

This is the nicest cottage. Tucked away and very private and peaceful. Host was easy to contact and gave us great advice on what to bring. Would rent this for sure again!! Great hideaway and suggest it for Fall as well. The Island was great to see without the hussle and bussle of summer!!
