Cedar Cottage, a private and cozy experience

It was cozy cottage with a spectacular view

What a gem. Close to town for convenience to shopping and dining. Removed enough to feel surrounded by nature. It’s cozy and well equipped with everything you need to stay. Host so kind and communicative as well. Pet friendly and equipped with bags and trash to clean up after your pet. There are steps into all entrances from the side and front of cabin so consider if any physical limitations. The bathroom is on the porch and you must go outside and down stone steps to enter. It is well equipped and host provided a torch to use when navigating at night. Kitchen has all you need to prepare a simple meal - we enjoyed a breakfast after shopping in the local market, Close to the Hotsprings to go on a day pass and come home for a relaxing night sleep. Bed was comfortable and cozy. Host is lovely and the cottage is sweet , we truly enjoyed our stay!

The cedar cottage was beautiful, clean, and quiet. We loved our stay.

This is January 15, 2025 and after we walked in to the cabin my wife said Where is the bathroom? to our surprise it is out side off the deck. You must go outdoors in the winter and then into the bathroom. This was not disclosed when we booked. This is wrong!!!!@

Appreciated the privacy and quietness of this setting among the trees, outdoor spots to sit with a coffee. Location need to be in touch with owner as not locable on google maps.

This was a lovely space with easy parking and friendly visit from the owners dog.

Clean and cozy. Quiet and peaceful. Perfect little get away. Also super nice that we could book for just one night!

The rooms where nice and clean and the bed comfortable. I would stay there again.

Cozy and cute little get away

Property was well maintained. We only stayed for 1 night arriving in the early evening. The cottage met out needs nicely full fridge, BBQ, 2 burners hot plate. No oven but we were expecting that and tailored our food choices around it. Even had a bonus visit from on of the neighboring cats in the morning.

As described charming rustic property. Nicely appointed very cottage feel. Only spent 1 nite, but more than met our needs.

The cabin was clean and pet friendly Bed was comfy. Everything we needed for our overnight stay.

Unfortunately we were only able to stay for one night at the cottage but we found the stay very relaxing. Cottage is easy to access but still somewhat secluded. Watching the sun come up above the mountains in the morning was spectacular.

Second time staying at one of Meleanna's properties and have been very pleased each time. Highly recommended!

Very cozy cottage with all you could ask for in amenities. Very tastefully decorated and the yard and deck with all the flowers was extremely inviting and relaxing. 2 cats who visit outside and may use it for home base are sweet. Dogs beware!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a few days of R&R at the cedar cottage - location was great (beautiful views!) and Meleana was so friendly and very responsive. Definitely would stay here again!

Just out of town, a lovely secluded little hideaway. It was all we expected -- and more. Peaceful, cozy, quiet.

My wife and I spent a week at Cedar Cottage located just south of Kaslo BC. Our host Meleana welcomed us and answered all of our questions. The well equipped cottage is nestled amongst the trees in a quiet and private location. It exceeded our expectations being walking distance to the heart of historic Kaslo and to an extensive multi use trail system. Excellent value and pet friendly too. Rob and Sharon

Rustic but beautiful. Private and comfortable.

Very pleasant. Very quiet. Bath location a bit of a challenge at night.
