Stayed Apr 22, 2026The Casita was a delightful, artfully presented oasis in Santa Fe! The Railyard district and the downtown square were very easy walks and access to Rte. 84 made excursions easy. The rental was very well equipped and furnished. We'll be back...

Stayed Mar 13, 2026Casit De Soledad was a 5-star experience for us! We let the host know we would be arriving late, she informed us she would turn up the heat (chilly night) and turn on the inside and outside lights to welcome us. The property was impeccably clean and well stocked (e.g. toothpicks, Q-tips, spices, freshly filled water filter pitcher, soaps, lotions, laundry detergent, etc., etc.). The fireplace made for a nice ambience along with tasteful decorations and two outdoor relaxation areas. The property was roomy and adorned with regional art and decor. The host provided a very informative binder with detailed instructions on how to use the amenities, local attractions, and area history. Even the mundane things like room lighting options, adjusting water temperature on the tankless water heater, and entertainment center options and controls were above and beyond what was expected. The host was responsive in a very timely manner to any questions we had. Her recommendations for flamenco music, restaurants, and bike rentals were spot on. Great experience and highly recommended!

Stayed Oct 1, 2025This casita is exceptional. Barb is wonderful. If late check in make sure your cell has a flashlight as lockbox is a bit hard to see the code numbers. Also, you need a car if staying here as most of the downtown stuff just a tad too long a walk. Assuming you will be going into town several times. These are in no way complaints, just advice for future visitors. We would rebook here in a heartbeat.

Stayed Jul 24, 2025This is one of the nicest vrbos we have stayed at in our travels. So nice, in fact, we did very little sightseeing and preferred our little getaway! The decor is lovely and themed for the area. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family!

Stayed Jul 1, 2025Barbara, the owner was unbelievable, with every little detail. She communicated very well about getting to the location, checking in, things to do, plus the property had everything one would need. The place was in a great location, and we walked and cycled everywhere. Thank you Barbara.

Stayed May 6, 2025The property is atmospheric, and the owners seem quite responsive. Covered parking is a definite plus.I had been concerned about possible traffic noise from nearby St. Francis Road/285. And, indeed, there is some.My major complaint is that there are no comfortable chairs. Likewise, I didn't find the bed overly comfortable.

Stayed Mar 30, 2025This place seemed too nice to be a Vrbo. It was more like staying at someone’s real home. Everything was private and quiet, and it was well stocked with supplies. It’s exactly like the pictures. No question that we’ll stay here again if we return to New Mexico.

Stayed Feb 9, 2025My wife and I loved the Casita! It was extremely clean. It had all the kitchen amenities we would need, including oil and spices. The bed was incredibly comfortable, as were the sheets and towels. The closet and large changing room were a nice plus. Communication with the owner was great. We loved the location. It was near a major road but we were not at all aware of it. And we were within easy walking distance of the heart of the city, including the Railyard district, the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, and the plaza of galleries, shops, and restaurants. We had a great stay and would gladly come back if are in Santa Fe again.

Stayed Oct 29, 2024Casita De Soledad felt like a perfect Santa Fe escape and like home from the moment we pulled into the carport. The property surpassed expectations, delivering more than its description suggested. All furniture was comfortable. The decor was very tasteful, no, perfect, and site appropriate. Little hospitalities like coffee, tea, shampoo and conditioner were much appreciated. The house information book, supplied guide books and brochures opened the city and the neighborhood. Nearby, walkable restaurants and galleries were abundant. We loved the location. Communication with the owners was easy. We couldn't have been more pleased. We will recommend to all friends traveling to Santa Fe and , hopefully return ourselves in the near future.

Stayed Oct 13, 2024This place is gorgeous, roomy, comfortable, and beautifully decorated in Santa Fe style but with all the modern conveniences, and on and on. The pix do not lie! It has everything one could want...wow a dressing room.... and we loved staying here. We had our wine and snacks on the front patio after a hard day of sight seeing or shopping. Sometimes we just stayed in as we were so happy there. Its an easy drive to just about anywhere in town or a walk to the Plaza. Barbara, the host was friendly and helpful and provided a great notebook. We've stayed in alot of places, and this one tops them all.

Stayed Sep 8, 2024Easily one of the best places we have ever stayed. It's outfitted with everything you could want. The furnishings, the architecture, the artwork, the layout, all conducive to a relaxing, comfortable, eye-pleasing stay. As far as we could tell, it only had one problem, as my amateur entomologist wife pointed out: the cute, decorative metal grasshopper positioned along the walkway in, only has four legs, when it should have six. Other than that—Perfection!
