Carriage House at 26 Pearl: Private Suite, 3 Minute Walk Downtown & Pet Friendly

Lovely cottage, clean, well-maintained, extremely convenient to downtown Mystic and Mystic Seaport. Wonderful stay!

This was the second time we have stayed at this property. It is so well located! The suites are charming and clean. We will stay here again.

Overall, love, the location and a very cozy spot. The heating was a bit strange and double check the listing because there was only one king bed when you book. Even though the ad makes it seem like there are two king beds. There’s only one.

We stayed here for two nights for a staycation close to home. The location is perfect to walk downtown and be tourists. The bed was incredibly comfortable, linens were exceptional. The decor and cleanliness were spot on. We would have given it 5 stars but it was VERY Cold inside, The heat is via fireplace and the fireplace went off each night we were there. The owner was willing to move us, but we thought we had the fireplace figured out so we stayed put. The next night when we awoke to the space being 50 degrees inside and the fireplace out again it was to late. There is a little space heater in the closet which we used to take showers and keep the bathroom warm. The only other complaint was a nearby dog barked about an hour starting at 7am quite loudly. I would imagine being a small village with neighbors so close there is only so much that can be done. We are typically up at 5am for work, but had seen a concert the night prior getting in very late and were eager to sleep in until our bodies awoke and not by a cold room and a barking dog (again,we could have moved the day prior but thought we had the heater issue fixed AND the dog issue is out of the owners control as I would imagine a nearby neighbor has a large dog and one can only do so much. All in all we would love to try and return and perhaps do one night on a non weekend and stay in the other suite.

We had a great 2 night stay before dropping our daughter off for her first year of college. The suite was well appointed and close to shops and dinning. Host was wonderful.

This property is adorable and so close to the downtown area of Mystic! We loved how the cottage was decorated and truly enjoyed our visit. We had everything we needed for long weekend stay. Check in and check out process was super easy and we loved that our sweet dog Frankie was welcome. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again!

The Carriage House at 26 Pearl is a charming “home away from home!” Located in the heart of downtown Mystic, steps away from local shops and eateries. Parking on site is ideal since street parking is difficult at times on Main Street and surrounding side streets. The space was clean, comfortable, and provided cozy vibes, both inside the unit and outdoors on the private patio in the English garden. The host, Sue, was very welcoming and helpful upon arrival and throughout our stay. Herman, the resident Golden, was a cheerful assistant “checking in” with us most days! He was very calm when around our small Italian Greyhound in the yard. Would book again at the property if ever in the Mystic area in the future.

Our weekend stay here was very pleasant. Accommodations were great and couldn't beat the location. Easy walk to Main St and otherwise quiet where we were. Thankful for the off street parking spot because otherwise parking would have been a challenge at times.

Liked the carragie house. Loved the location.

Beautiful cottage duplex on lovely grounds, with Herman the Golden Retriever as an added bonus! Susan takes great care in providing everything her guests might need for a wonderful stay, a quiet little paradise yet so close to town.
