We loved the house, the location, and the lazy river!

Everything about this property was amazing! The location is safe and gated. The cottage was so clean and well kept. The pool and activities were an added bonus. The shuttle to and from the beach was quick and easy to schedule.

We had a wonderful time. Perfect location, you’re right in front of the pool. The resort did some type of family activity everyday we was there. Beach shuttle is definitely a plus if you have younger children but the walk isn’t long at all! The resort does not sale any food like some does, but there is electric grills throughout the property. Also right outside the back door is the access to the park. Very nice if you love nature.

We had great weather and enjoyed all of the amenities of BVR - the pool, the access to Gulf State Park and the beach. It’s a great location and we really enjoyed the house we were in. It met all our needs and was a great spot for our family.

The property management team was responsive to all of our questions and requests. They were even happy to give advice on silly questions, like, What's the best local pizza joint? Our house was beautiful, pristine, well-stocked for cooking, and comfortable. The pool is AMAZING and kept very clean! There is plenty of space for guests to spread out and find shade, if needed, at the pool. The kids loved the options in the slide,lazy river, and deeper swimming area, as well as the splash area for the little ones. Sam was a fantastic chauffeur to the beach! He came quickly each time, and with a smile. We had a grandmother, two parents, and kids ranging 5-16 in our group, and they were all happy at the pool. We enjoyed our view of the beautiful natural space of the state park, and even got to watch Larry the gator glide by every day and catch some fish. I took special care in choosing a unit with comfortable back porch seating! There is a lovely breeze on the backside of the houses facing the canal. There's also neighborhood vibe here, and neighboring guests gave advice on the cul-de-sac grills and local spots. We really enjoyed ourselves.

First off the location of Village Beach Resort is so close to everything yet not overcrowded. Our house #21 has to be the PERFECT location. Literally steps to the magnificent pool and the back porch overlooks the Gulf State Park! The home was pristine condition and even though they are 1400 sq ft they feel so open and roomy. The interior decor was warm yet beachy. The owner and developer were on site checking in and making last minute punch lists. At the pool, there were staff cleaning and making the property magnificent! We will definitely be booking again! We had a family of 5 adults.

He and his sisters LOVED the pool and the bunk beds. The location was perfect especially in the resort. This cottage is directly across from the pool so made life easy on me. The cottage is also next to the entrance of the park. We usually only stay in the beach but BVR has a golf cart to bring you and your gear back and forth to the beach. It was a wonderful place to stay and can’t wait to book again.

Loved watching the alligator from our porch, and sunsets over the park. The pool can stay lively until 10 and music first thing in the morning but we bring noise machines so not too bad. Would be nice to have a toaster, hair dryer and front door mat. We had to buy pool/beach towels. The bathtub was also missing a plug which made baths for my toddler difficult. Easy and loved the pool and trail, happy with my choice to stay here instead of on the beach.
