Bush Rock Touchdown Cottages

The host came to see us not long after we arrived which I had not experienced before and was lovely. Cottage was amazing and surprisingly cool and warm considering no air con. Had absolutely no issues with the solar power. Wonderful stay.

Stayed here with a couple of friends for my 40th so we could do the kosciousko summit walk. Cottage was comfortable and clean. Everything we needed was provided. The cottage was very warm at night which was lovely and cosy. Some more options for the TV would be nice but not something to stress about. Lots of wildlife around, we spotted dear, rabbits, foxes and plenty of Roos. Really enjoyed our stay.

The pups had a lovely time and we had the fire going. Archie was lovely. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay at Touchdown Cottage in Jindabyne. The cottage was spotless, warm, and incredibly comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. Our dog absolutely loved the space to explore and settled in straight away, which made the stay even more enjoyable for us. We loved the peaceful bush setting and waking up to kangaroos right outside. It felt private and secluded while still being just a few minutes from town. A cosy, quiet retrea highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience! The cottages perfectly match this beautiful location. The property is quite large and there is nature all around you. You can see kangaroos, bunnies and deers. You can go for nice walks and enjoy the surroundings. Look up at the starts if the sky is clear! The cottage we booked had everything we needed. Everything is built to be sustainable and eco friendly. It's powered by solar, so certain appliances have been replaced to use energy more efficiently. You don't have a toaster but you have a gas oven and grill. You don't have the usual heater, you have a fireplace instead. We loved it! Gary, the host, is very welcoming. He showed us our cottage and explained us how to work everything. He is also very helpful and available for any question you might have. We definitely recommend it to anyone who truly want to experience the mountain and want to take a break from city living while still being comfortable and close to town.

We had a great stay. We loved the property, the surrounding area, the location, and the kangaroos… it was amazing! The accommodation was excellent and as shown in the photos. Gary, who welcomed us, was super friendly and always quick to answer any questions we had.

Off grid so be ready to get back to basics. Loved our stay and owners were great.

Very comfortable and well laid out and appointed cottage, surrounded by peaceful mountain countryside. There are other cottages on the site, but spaced far apart and you have the sense of isolation and peace and quiet. Very pleasant to wake up to kangaroos grazing right outside your door. Very close to Jindabyne where there is a good range of places to eat, and a good supermarket enabling you to stock up and eat in the cottage. A very pleasant stay., abd a giid sul

We loved staying at Touchdown Cottages and will definitely be back soon! The scenery and peaceful atmosphere was great. The cottage makes you feel like you are right at home, very comfortable. The owners of the property Gary and Gail are so lovely, friendly and welcoming :)

Terrific setup with everything you need to base yourself from for adventures in the area. Plenty of space both inside and outside the cottage, very quiet and private and best of all, it’s only a couple of minutes into Jimdabyne

Second time I've stayed here before hiking Mt KKuzi. So peacefull and welcoming

It was a nice property with all our needs met. It felt like a home. Off grid, but you wouldn't know it. Views were great. Convenient location. Property manager was great. Hope to come back.

Great accommodation with a fantastic outlook

We enjoyed our stay very much, the cottage had everything to make us comfortable. It's nice and modern, very clean. Peaceful location. We enjoyed watching the kangaroos and rabbits right out of our window. We wish it could be closer to us (we are from SA), we would definitely visit more often.

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay the cottage had a lovely and private outlook with plenty of wildlife for the kids to enjoy! Gary was a helpful and friendly host and responded very promptly when we experienced a problem with our shower. We would love to return again to Touchdown Cottages!

We enjoyed a great 3day stay in the exceptionally well appointed cabin. Very convenient to everything we wanted to do in the area. Our host was very welcoming and helpful.

A well equipped cottage in a beautiful setting. We got to enjoy some beautiful sunrises with kangaroos hopping and grazing on the large property. Look forward to returning here again soon.

Touchdown Cottages are a fantastic place to stay, easy access to the snow and all the amenities of Jindabyne, while being peaceful, private, cosy and out of town. Helpful, welcoming hosts, we would love to come back!

This is a peaceful spot only a minute out of town. The cabins are very clean, spacious and comfortable. Heating is only via wood fire, so temperature is a little hard to regulate, but only a problem when it’s really cold. Could do with a washing machine for longer stays as there are limited facilities in town. Although these cottages are entirely off grid, so not sure how feasible that is. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend!

Myself wife and Cavoodle stayed for 2 nights in this picture perfect part of the world. Beautiful clean quiet and convenient describe these cottages. Couldnt have asked for more.

My stay at Touchdown Cottages was everything I had wished for. Gary was friendly and helpful. The property was more than enough for me to take my dog on some walks and adventures. The cottage was toasty warm, comfortable and clean. Ive already rebooked and looking forward to another great weekend.
