Bumble Cottage - Chipping Campden

Enjoyed our stay; my only disappointment was a refuse bin full of maggots; don't think it had been emptied in a very long time and was not due to be emptied during my stay but was very unpleasant. The bin collection process obvious left a lot to be desired.

Clean convenient and every thing you could possibly need in the kitchen.We had trouble with lock needing a new code when we arrived which was stressful and we could not lock when we left. We asked neighbors to help and they could not lock the door. Also we were not able to control thermostat owner did. They did have many throws which helped us stay cozy. Wonderful location!

Wonderful cottage, we all loved the Bumble Bee themed items. Great location, couldn't fault a thing. We would definitely return.

Bumble Cottage is delightful. The location couldn’t be better…a quick walk to High Street but so peaceful overnight. And the cottage is equipped with everything needed for a lovely holiday.

A well equipped, clean holiday cottage with off-street parking, (which is so useful during busy holiday periods), just a few steps away from Chipping Campden's High Street with its shops and eateries. The cottage also has a lovely paved rear garden to relax in on sunny days. There are a selection of books and games thoughtfully provided by the owner. Our third visit; I'm sure it won't be our last.

Great stay, literally in the middle of town on a very quiet street, just a 30 second walk under an archway to the Main Street. All the instructions for the cottage, and information for appliances were very clearly written- we would stay again in a heartbeat. Everything was as advertised, and perhaps would even say better than we had hoped- we travelled with our 92 year old mother, so we always looked at stairways, bathrooms, etc. when planning. She said the cottage had the best handrail on the stairs in the UK of all the places we stayed in during the 5 weeks we were there. It was the quintessential Cotswold Cottage with all the modern conveniences. I also cannot say enough about the importance of having a parking space included. I had several questions prior to the stay which were answered immediately by the owner.

I booked from Australia so was a little unsure if the property would live up to expectations. It was stunning, and the most well equipped property I have ever stayed in. The owners have thought of everything. We used it as our base to explore the area, it was perfectly located in the heart of everything, with parking, so we didn’t need to worry about using the car. I would highly recommend this property to everyone. Already planning a return trip.

This was a return visit after we were here over Christmas. Can't find fault with the cottage except we wished the weather had been more friendly towards us so that we could have sat out in the back garden in the evening. The cottage is so convenient for going to the local restaurants and bars so we didn't have to bother about driving further and finding parking. The owners should be very proud of this property. It is by far the best we have visited! We shall hopefully visit again and hope the weather will be better.

Lovely cottage in superb location.Very clean and comfortable. Will definately be returning.

Perfect location, very tight driveway if you have a big car. Beds very hard, uncomfortable foam pillows, not our choice, didn't sleep at all well. On arrival no milk in the fridge as stipulated, shop was a few mins away but after a long drive didn't want to go out and bearing in mind this was the only fresh item provided, it was poor. Bathroom is quite compact, if you have mobility issues or are bathing children it maybe a little awkward. Key is held in a digital key box outside, timed. Although there was nobody in the cottage before us we weren't allowed in before check-in time of 4pm. There was nobody in after either and it is suggested that you can ask for a later checkout which we did, by just one hour. We were told it wasn't possible, I'd recommend not even suggesting to ask for one. The kitchen is well equipped, the property is spotlessly clean and in a great location.

Bumble Cottage is one of the best and loveliest cottages we have stayed at. We like to self cater and be free to do our own thing. The convenience of the cottage was excellent - just a short walk to the Chipping Campden high street and restaurants and coffee shops. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and it was so cosy. We would like to visit again when the weather is warmer so that we can sit outside in the garden.

Fabulous property, conveniently situated close to the action but not affected by town noise. Very good eateries close by and lots of very different walks.

Very comfortable and superbly equipped accommodation in excellent (but quiet) location for easy access to the high street. One of the best we’ve stayed in and definitely plan to return!

We stayed in Bumble Cottage for 4 nights. We could not recommend it highly enough. Location and parking in the centre of the village was excellent so we could stroll to restaurants etc in the evening. The cottage was spotlessly clean everywhere, including every item in the kitchen drawers and cupboards. Great shower and very comfortable beds. Would definitely book again we loved it.

This is our second time at bumble cottage it is a home from home, everything you could need is there and absolutely spotless from top to bottom ⭐️ Everything is just a short walk away you won’t be disappointed with the cottage or chipping campden can’t wait to return.
