We stayed in Bron Wendon at the start of December for a short getaway. Although the weather was as bad as expected, Bron Wendon offered a cosy and comfortable place to settle in for the week! The kitchen was well stocked in terms of utensils, pots and pans etc., the sofa was very comfortable and the fire was perfect. A couple of things which would have made it even better: - We weren’t left with any wood for the fire so had to provide this ourselves. Even just a couple of nights worth would have been appreciated. - The beds felt quite small, and because of the metal frames you were woken up every time you or someone else turned over! The mattresses/duvets and pillows were comfortable however.

A beautifully equipped and heavenly located house. We were lucky enough to have stayed during a strong onshore storm, the sea was both beautiful and scary; to have seen this from the house was a real treat. It has the most wonderful views.

This property is even nicer in real life than on the photos. The lounge and kitchen areas are beautifully finished with breathtaking views and for that reason alone we think this trip was fantastic value for money. Our only criticism is that both bathrooms / WCs had an unpleasant smell for our entire trip and it was off putting which was unfortunate, as everything else about the house is immaculate. Also, I don’t know if I missed somewhere where we needed to request them in advance, but there were no logs to light a fire so we couldn’t have a fire on the first night of our stay but we bought some from the corner shop and had a lovely fire on our second night.

We booked Bron Wendon as a last minute short break and the description/photos looked excellent... we were NOT disappointed!!! Lovely property in a fabulous location, so despite some rather inclement weather, the views were to die for... you cannot beat watching the waves crash into Cemaes Bay's headland from the warmth of the kitchen. Everything you could need during your stay is supplied and a useful general store within walking distance for anything you may have forgotten, Fabulous walks directly from the property, either down through Cemaes or towards Wylfa, which the dog loved, particularly the secluded and empty pebble beach towards Wylfa... it was worth braving the wind and rain to get there!! Easy commute to our favourite restaurants on Anglesey (White Eagle at Rhoscolyn, Oyster Catcher at Rhosneigr, The Ship Inn at Red Wharf Bay and Dylan's at Menai Bridge). All in all a great property in a spectacular location... Our only criticism... advertised as dog friendly but the lawn area is not securely fenced in and the wall to the coastal path is only 2 1/2 ft high... We would strongly recommend the addition of a 4ft high stock fence around this area or at least point this out in the description.

A lovely, well renovated cottage with sea views in a quiet part of Cemaes. A good private outside sitting area. Well equipped kitchen. Unusual not to be left hand soap .

Just returned from a beautiful weeks stay here at this cottage and I will now spend the future days counting down to booking it again! Complete perfection and I’d recommend and return in a heartbeat. This cottage is exactly as described, absolutely beautiful. The view is also absolutely breathtaking, I could have sat for hours just in the garden soaking it in but we were lucky to have sunshine all week so we did venture to the nearby beaches. Our favourite being Newborough, if you have time/chance (50 minute drive) then do not miss this as it’s seriously worth the drive. The nearby village is a little quiet area and so is the cottage but there’s a cafe, pub, Morrisons daily, barbers, hairdressers, fish & chip shop etc two minutes away and the beach cafe does stone baked pizzas until 7pm too. Golf club was 10 minute drive. Further afield, 30 minutes we went to another beach then of course the newborough one. As for the cottage the cleanliness, the layout, the beds (super comfy), the game boards left, the widescreen tv - just everything was great from the hosts and appreciated from us. We couldn’t have had a better view, stay or time. Absolutely loved our stay, thank you so much. See you again sometime in the future!!

Great on the whole . Great location and layout.Have fed a few maintenance jobs that need doing back to the letting firm as they did distract from the whole experience.

We love this area anyway and this property was beautiful and location superb. There was a slight damp smell to one of the back bedrooms that did spoil it a little for the person sleeping in there. That said - It wouldn't stop me from booking this place again.

This was our first stay in Anglesey and we picked a prime spot. The Lovely village of Cemaes , the most Northerly village in Wales! Plenty of things to do in the area. Bron Wendon held a prime spot above the bay with the coastal path at the bottom of the Garden. Lovely property with plenty of space for 6. There were just a few ingredients missing that would have made this a full 5 stars for us. Some of the kitchen utensils are in need of upgrading. Providing condiments, Kitchen roll, cling fill and tin foil would be a nice touch. You might say I am being picky here but silly things like this can be important. Having said that, the location and lay out of the property is excellent. We would go back again.

This was our second visit to Anglesey and we were certainly not disappointed. Bron Wendon is just a perfect place and has everything you need - the views are just amazing! The house was spotless and so welcoming and AHL were just amazing when we asked to extend our stay at the last minute due to issues at home. The housekeeper was so accommodating and returned the following day to make the house ready for the next visitors - she didn't have to say yes but did and we were so grateful. She even loved our dog Molly - and think the feeling was mutual! Thank you so much again for an amazing stay - we will return for sure and will book through AHL without hesitation.

What a beautiful house! Clean, comfortable and it had everything we needed for a lovely stay. We were very lucky with the weather so were able to go on many walks on the coastal path. The house felt like home as soon as we arrived. Stunning views from the kitchen and living room and a very comfortable sofa to relax on. The log fire just added that extra coziness in the evenings. We really didn’t want to leave. Thank you.

Stunning accommodation. Beautifully furnished. Comfortable beds. Your cleaner needs a bonus as the place was immaculate. The outside sitting area was peaceful and so relaxing. Views of the sea, lovely. Perfect location. Dog friendly. Our dogs loved it. On arrival we were greeted with a lovely box of shortbread and bags of treats for the dogs, so thoughtful. Highly recommend this accommodation. The only minor things missing was a kitchen cheese grater and a hanging towel holder in the small toilet.

We loved our stay at Bron Wendon. It’s a beautiful spacious property, with absolutely stunning views. It’s in a great location, moments from the coastal path, the beach and Cemaes village. It was spotlessly clean, very well appointed, and had everything we needed for a lovely relaxing stay.

Although I thought that this property was expensive for 1 weeks stay, it became quickly apparent that Bron Wendon was absolutely the perfect place for relaxation. The views and quietness of this property were just what we needed. Having said that only a five/ten minute walk and you're in the village centre providing you with all of your essential needs. A five minute walk and you're on one of two beaches to the delight of my cocker spaniel. The cottage was well equipped and the decor is beautiful. Quite frankly I was ready to put an offer in! The digital Handbook I received before the holiday was great too! I will definitely return!

Holiday cottage was beautiful, nicely decorated. Bedrooms were very nice. Had amazing views over the bay. Lovely beach . Five adults spent a week and there was plenty of room. The kitchen had a high bar style table and stools, a great place to sit with a drink and watch the sea and passing ships in the distance. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
