Stayed Jul 8, 2025The property is well-set in a central location in Blackheath. We found the instructions to check in and warm the place very easy to follow! No fuss. Lots of bird life to watch, and comfortable warm beds, everything you want for a winter getaway.

Stayed Jun 18, 2021Brantwood is a delightful Blackheath home, which has been beautifully furnished and in winter the gas log fire and aircon are superb! It's in a lovely location and John and Tanya were very helpful in booking and suggesting places for us to visit. A very delightful stay!

Stayed Jul 27, 2018My partner and I enjoyed a lovely weekend at Brantwood Cottage with another couple as well for Yulefest. The heating and fireplace kept us lovely and warm, the kitchen was well stocked - they even left us wine and lots of breakfast items! Our only (slight) problem is that one of the men in our group is quite tall (around 6'4) and he didn't fit well into the beds since they had a footer. Not a huge deal, but possibly worth noting for taller guests!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969It was a lovely place to stay and get away from the city. The house was clean and relaxing, very good for family and friends to stay together. The instruction about the house and blue mountains were clearly informed by John and Tanya and set up was really nice. Definitely will come back later with family during summer time. Looking forward to create new memory.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our 3 generation family stayed here over Easter and could not have asked more of the property. The house was well stocked with enough breakfast for us all for 3 mornings. Plenty of games and DVDs. Best beds we have slept on for holiday rental. Thank you. Super quiet street within easy drive to Blackheath restaurants etc. Owners were very approachable and welcoming

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Thank you John and Tanya, for sharing your wonderful cottage with us inNovember this year. Booking was an absolute pleasure and as with yourdirections, everything was completely thought of upon our arrival. We feltthe warmth you?ve so genuinely invested as soon as we walked through thedoor, everything from the grandfather clock and wooden floors with heating,to the wonderful kitchen and banquet dining table. Our little girls spenthours searching for secret treasures in the garden and dad discovered thegolf course a few paces away almost immediately. As an international travelconsultant for over 15 years, I can honestly say that Brantwood Cottage isone of the country?s best kept secrets. There was absolutely nothing wecouldn?t find, from the olive oil we?d forgotten for our salad, to the mostfantastic and abundant breakfast supplies. The interior was beautifullyappointed with such comfy beds that none of us wanted to move in themornings! Not even the weather could hold us back with the lovely porch anddining area out the front. Both mum and I felt that the magic we?dexperienced was each of your visitors leaving a little of their hearts andsmiles behind with pleasure. Congratulations to you both on a little sliceof heaven and we look forward to visiting again soon!Hope this is of help - thanks so much again and if you add any moreproperties to the portfolio, please let us know, you do it so well!Lots of warm thoughts,Kim, Dave (Gramps), Viv (Gran), Ash (little sister), Darren (her husband)and our three fairies from the 'secret garden' Georgie, Becky and Annie.
