Both Lake and River frontage! Great fishing!

Perfect weekend stay.

Beautiful lake cottage, fishing was awesome, 3 nice bass. Enjoyed the kayaks. Very peaceful and quiet. Would stay again.

loved the set up; the upstairs bedroom was like it's own on suite. I would change your note on the amentities; address that there is no boat launch on the lake; and you can bring a carry down boat. There are a couple of areas in the lake that are very shallow and can ground your boat on; one is near the shore by a home on the point between the small island and the shore on the left side. The second is in the cove farther down where there are two homes; one is brown the other is gray; just mention you will have to get in that area by staying close to those homes. It might be worth while to set a mooring post to on the shore to tie boats up to; that would prevent boats from drifting off. I can tell you that you have a lot of legal sized bass in the lake because they were spawning, and multiple ones were jumping out of the water. Great to watch, but it made it tough to fish; not your fault. I don't know if the batteries in the dartboard were getting weak; it would come on, but not keep score. Could be I couldn't figure it out. If its working, may need to post instructions on using. Big thumbs up to the bowling alley in town; we went there one night and got a bundle to bowl and mini golf; good entertainment. There was not a easy hole on that course; the staff there were great. I would mention you have a dvd/vcr combo and tell people to bring their own movies, as I did not see a collection. The cottonwood can be problem for allergy sufferers. Worth mentioning.

Great spot for a golf trip

It's quite a charming and unique cottage. We enjoyed all of the fishing bling. We were a bit early for fishing, but managed to lose a few lures below the dam. A nice weekend getaway to a comfy cottage. We'll book again. Thanks.

Echoes of past friends-and-family gatherings resonate in this updated yet still rustic cottage on the edge of a lovely lake and flowing river. It's easy to understand why generations of the owner's family have enjoyed this fish camp site. Do not expect five-star hotel accommodations here--rather a place that shows that many have been here before. There is no dishwasher, so expect to handwash everything you use before and after. The cooler weather did not allow us to get out on the lake, but we loved the view every day--instead we enjoyed the warmth of the outdoor fireplace and the comfy indoor furniture and game room for places to relax and have some fun. Allen was very responsive to my messages and seems to take care of issues that may occur. I hope to stay here again during future visits to my home town.

We love this place! It’s beautiful and clean and so much fun! 5 stars isn’t enough it deserves 10! This is our second year as a family here for a fishing trip and we will be back :)

Easy check in, cottage was everything we expected. Good communication with the host. Would recommend this to anyone who would like some peace and quiet so they can relax.

This rental has been consistently clean and well kept. Amazing location and amenities. I wish that all VRBOs were this good!

Fish camp has a wonderful spot on a smaller ( private feel) all sports lake. Rare to be able to combine those two settings. Also located next to the lakes dam, the gentle water fall sound adds to the relaxing experance of sitting by the lake and enjoying the lakeside view. The cottage is well stocked for all your daily needs and kept up well. Though we did not get to use it being that we were outdoors focused, the lower level has a wonderful game space with bar, pool table, foosball and more.

We had a great time. All essentials were provided with the rental. Close enough to town to pop up there easily. Beds were comfortable!

Fish Camp is a charming little cottage in a peaceful setting on the lake. The property owner was very responsive while booking our stay and flexible with allowing us to check-in early--much appreciate! We suspected we may have been the first to stay this season as the cottage smelled VERY musty when we first entered, and there wasn't shampoo, conditioner or body soap available in the second floor bathroom. We opened windows to air it out, and the musty smell dissipated within a few hours but it was disappointing to be hit with that when we walked in. The box of coffee K Cups in the pantry was completely empty. We made a quick trip to the store to pick up the missing items we needed for our stay. The property was clean and conveniently located to all the locations we needed to visit in West Branch for a family wedding, so, overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Fantastic property! Great place for golf or fishing get-togethers.

Wonderful place and location…if you are fishing, definitely check the seasonal limitations/ rules on the river with regards to closings on parts of the river for fishing.

We were blessed to have incredible weather for September, so we were able to enjoy this property about as much as you can in a short five days. The property and host are as advertised and more. Fishing, kayaking, hanging out in nature... what more could we have asked for? Thank you, Allen!
