Very comfortable place, convenient to Black Mountain downtown and Asheville.

Great place! Enjoyed the front porch. Sellers had excellent communication. Great location in Black Mountain. Only a couple of minor issues: the owners may want to pass this along to their cleaning people. There was hair in the shower and dirt on the floor of the hot tub. Also, no shampoo or bath soap were provided so we had to run to the store for that. Overall, very nice!

The cabin was extremely nice and updated. The location was beautiful and very close to hiking trails. We had a fantastic time and were very pleased with everything.

Everything was great! Enjoyed the turkey crosdings in the morning immensely.

This is the perfect house for a Biltmore/Asheville get away. The home was clean, and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful! Black Mountain is a fun town as well.

Cleanliness and attentiveness

House was perfect location and plenty of room for us and the dogs. House was decorated nicely and furniture was comfortable.

The house was what we needed and in a great location for our event! Should consider all wheel drive vehicle as the drive way is not long but is in need of repair which they said they’re working on! Would recommend!

Good place. Was a bit dirty, dishes very dirty, trash not emptied, no soap in the house. Outside of that no complaints had a great time!

Great getaway in the mountains. Close to everything & Black Mountain. The place was perfect for 6 & 2 dogs. Lots of hiking trails close by & the hot tub was a hit. Our hosts also had great communication.

I was hoping for better cleanliness. The hot tub was dirty and we didn’t get to enjoy it as much. I had to ask for a broom to sweep all the dog hair in master bedroom and bathroom, shower bottom floor was dirty in both bathrooms, toothpaste in master bathroom sink, stained towels, and bathroom shower head dirty. But overall the stay was great. The Nest was very nice and cozy.

Very cozy feel. Living room not very comfortable but otherwise the rest of the house is lovely. My only real complaint was the condition of the gravel road leading up to the house. Needs re-grading, my 4wd was not happy making it up the drive.

Property was in a safe area and was visibly clean upon entrance. The fireplace did not work and needs repairing. The stairs going up to the hot tub are aged and have a layer of algae growing on them. My wife slipped getting on the first step and hit her head on the hot tub and bruised her hip. After going to urgent care it was confirmed she had a concussion. Would recommend the owners have this area cleaned up.

Our family of five, all adults, and furry members enjoyed the location, quietness, hot tub and visiting the Black Mountain Sourwood Festival. The location of the property is great. The drive up rocky driveway with some ruts was like an added theme ride, but do-able. The cabin itself is very roomy and for our short stay was very nice.

Wonderful location near beautiful Catawba waterfall hike, downtown Black Mountain and Asheville. We enjoyed the hot tub and that it was dog friendly. We even saw a bear!

Well located private house.

Accessible for my parents who were celebrating their 60th anniversary. Perfect location... Close enough to Biltmore, but not in the middle of Asheville craziness. Clean, comfortable, and a lovely porch. We watched two bears from the porch and felt honored.

Restful and lovely

Bluebird Hideaway served as an excellent location for our family (3 people). We really enjoyed hearing the birds every day and appreciated having an upstairs for our teenager while my wife and I enjoyed downstairs. Centrally located, and a quiet location. We saw bears crossing the road from our property, and I enjoyed the long morning walks up the steep roads. Highly recommend!

Cabin was perfect for our needs. Was close to shopping and restaurants. Loved the privacy the property provided.

Location was excellent. Home was mostly clean with the exception of one of the beds and the hot tub. Host responds quickly. Front porch was so relaxing to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning.

This was our 3rd time staying in Black Mountain and with this particular host. Previous two times at their other property. Last 2 visits including this year, the hot tiub did not work properly. It did not heat. While it may be a minor thing, when you market a property as having certain amenities, they should probably work correctly. We will not be visiting again

We went to see snow and it started snowing right after we arrived. Great location.

We wanted a quiet place for a getaway for our anniversary and this was the absolutely perfect spot. We felt isolated from life but still able to go site seeing and have a whole host of places to eat and relax. We spent time out at the fire pit and in the hot tub. It was truly the perfect anniversary trip and we hope to come back to this house in the future!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at the cabin. The hot tub and fire pit were very relaxing places after spending the days at the Biltmore and wandering around local shops. So wonderful to see how the community has bonded together to recover from the hurricane.

The house was a great location. Close to down town Black Mountain and a short drive to Asheville. Shopping downtown was cozy and fun. Enjoyed the fire pit and night sky. It was a very quiet location. House was cute and fairly clean. May want to bring your own pillow as the ones in the house were small and flatter. All amenities were provided for needs. Would recommend

We had a great time during our visit to Black Mountain. Cottage is centrally located, clean, and comfortable.

A very quiet and relaxing getaway, very convenient location. Owners were very prompt with responses. We loved the front porch, encounter lots of wildlife in front yard which was wonderful to see! Only negative is I wish the place was a little cleaner and to have more up to date cable ( we had tons of rain while we were there so connecting to smart tv was challenging). Overall it was a good experience and would recommend staying
