My friends and I had so much fun and really enjoyed saying here! The fire pit was really nice and it’s not far from 151. So thankful for Karin’s hospitality! It looks even nicer in person :)
This charming cottage is exactly as advertised! We had such a delightful stay and our favorite spots were on the front porch looking over the mountains or the back porch meditating with the many residents of the butterfly garden. Our hosts were welcoming and I'm sure would have been responsive to questions or concerns, but we were fully informed and had no complaints! A soul renewing, restful vacation.
The house was cute and truly had everything we could need. It felt more like staying at your aunt's house than staying at rentals that the owners never live in. We were very close to playing in the Tye River, hiking on the Appalachian Trail, tubing on the James River, and dining at the many local breweries. We enjoyed our stay.
All was very lovely at the cottage. Very well-equipped, clean, and charming—and in a great neighborhood for hiking. We hope to return soon!
We were in the area to ski and this was a great alternative to staying in a condo on the mountain. You can tell a lot of thought goes into making this place feel like home away from home. The kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped, plenty of extra blankets & pillows, spacious with lots of seating, collection of games/books/movies, etc. Karin even made a delicious homemade blueberry bread. Would highly recommend.
We came up(two couples) for the weekend. Cottage couldn’t have been better! Exceeded our expectations, will definitely come back !!
Very clean, organized and well stocked! Great communication from property manager! Excellent stay!
From the moment I made the reservation to the moment we left everything was perfect! Adorable property with so much attention to detail! We will definitely be back!
The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. It's convenient to a lot of our favorite places, such as Crabtree Falls and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Everything was fantastic! Karin was always quick to respond. She baked us some amazing blueberry bread and had loads of little extras for her guests. Loved watching nature there, taking walks and just relaxing. So many wineries and beautiful places to visit. Wish I was back there right now. Internet is very spotty, so be prepared. I could text out with the WIFI, but not make calls. Thai you, Karin and Brad, for such a lovely place to stay.
