BLUE Mermaid's Cottage TA-038-749-9520-01

I appreciate the host being super responsive with our concerns after the Kona Low storm hit the island. The cottage is quaint and nestled in the middle of a tropical forest. The sounds from the birds and bugs at night is a beautiful musical to fall asleep to. Everything was clean and comfortable. My kids loved the loft area where they got to sleep. I would not recommend this to families with very small children. Overall our stay was pleasant and within close proximity to the things we wanted to do. My only concern is the microwave. We used it on our last morning there only to find the inside is rusted and pealing. Probably not safe to microwave your food. It needs to be replaced. I love the concept of these themed cottages and only wish I could see the inside of the others. The decorations were so nice.

my stay here was wonderful. the space was bright, airy, and beautifully designed with a peaceful island feel. i loved the high wooden ceilings and all the natural light coming in through the windows.the cottage was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. it felt like a perfect little retreat after long days exploring the island. the surrounding greenery and the beautiful property felt very private and serene.the host provided every essential and was very accommodating with great communication.it was a lovely place to stay and i would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and tranquil getaway. i would happily stay here again!p.s. the cats on the property are super friendly and cute! they made sure to check on us to be sure we were okay.

We had an incredible time! The location was truly one-of-a-kind, tucked away from the usual hustle and bustle. It was enveloped in the harmonious sounds of cicadas, coqui frogs, and the most adorable cats

We enjoyed staying in the cottage but was disappointed it wasn't closer to the Holoalua shops and restaurants and found there was less to do in Holuahoa than we expected.

Blown away by the serenity and sounds of nature all the while 20 mins from hustle bustle of beach life. Highly recommend Stepanie’s place and awesome cottages.

Great place that is exactly as advertised. Peaceful. Restorative. Relaxing.

Charming, close to nature cottage, complete with indoor geckos and serenading frogs. We enjoyed being literally above the fray in the cool elevation a short drive from Kailua. Simple but comfortable, the kitchen was small for a family of four, but was very manageable with a small fridge and hot plate. A lovely treat!
