Property was clean. House was nicely decorated and spacious for our family of 5. Within walking distance to grocery store and downtown restaurants/shops. Easy drive to/from Glacier National Park.

The house was clean and ready for settling in. The host is very accommodating if we had any questions. The fenced area for a pet is small but was usable. The only downsides are a larger dog can jump up on the dog house and over the fence. My small dog was able to squeeze through the gate. The great grandkids camped outside in their tent and really enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Our stay in Columbia Falls was very conveniently located to GNP and our planned activities. The home was clean and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were cards, games, and TV for relaxation in the evening. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay, the location was easy to get to all the places as described. I loved the patio, the mattresses, pillows, shower (and water pressure), how comfy the whole feeling of the place was. However, the trains are close to the property and sound their horns during the night, which is out of the owner’s control. However I wish I would have known about it.

Overall was very happy with the property. Clean, comfortable and great location! Might want to mention proximity to train tracks. Didn’t bother us, but some guests may want a heads up. Also, may want to mention 3rd bedroom is down steep stairs. Not a big deal for us,but might be for some.Lastly another garbage or recycling bin outside would be helpful for longer stays. We had a great time in the beautiful Flathead Valley!! We appreciate Dixie opening up her house for us

My husband and I traveled to glacier for our birthday weekend, we biked going to the sun road and we're pleased to stay in Columbia falls away from the hustle and bustle of the national park. We loved the cottage and the thoughtful decor and especially the fully stocked big kitchen! We did find the queen mattress upstairs was really soft so we used the downstairs one. As other reviewers mentioned it is very close to a railroad crossing, which wasn't a problem for us, but good to know for others.

The house was very clean, recent renovation well done. Very comfortable for the 4 of us, lots of room to relax. Great location for 3 days of golf, and lots of amenities close by. Beds were all comfortable, kitchen very functional. Dixie was very helpful with any questions we had.

Prefacing this review with the fact that there is a railroad near the house with trains going through a couple times throughout the day and night. So if you’re a light sleeper, this place might not be the best for you. Other than the trains, this was a wonderful stay with all the amenities you could ever need. The beds were comfortable, the interior was spacious, and the kitchen was amazing. Everything was really clean too. Also a 20 min drive to West Glacier (not bad) If you can ignore the train horns, this is one of the best places you can stay in Columbia Falls

The cottage is nicely renovated. It was spacious for our family and friends, and close to Glacier National Park .There is nice well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms and living room, washer and dryer. The time we stayed there were no a/c at the cottage. It was hot and we had to open windows at night. Because the house is located close to railroad the noise from trains was very load at night. Also a lot of windows didn't have screens so bugs were getting into the cottage.
