The property itself is very impressive and well equipped. Lovely big open space. Unfortunately, the drain in the upstairs shower room was completely blocked leading to floor flooding. We managed to mop up before the water could do any damage to the downstairs, The owner came and unblocked the drain herself. Not an auspicious start to our break considering the amount of money that we paid. Then after the first day there was no internet for the remainder of our stay. On our return home, I realised that I had left some items of clothing in the chest of drawers upstairs—obviously my fault. However, I messaged about this and offered to pay for it to be posted to me. No reply. I phoned and spoke to the owner and was assured that he would check and let me know. I have not heard from them since. My life is too short to be chasing people up and so I have put it down to experience. You did ask me to tell you about our stay. That is about it. Nice place but no real hospitality.
