It was clean but a bit musty smelling. There were smelly diffusers to try and disguise this but we had to take them our while we were there as can't handle strong smells.

Great location and excellent views. Clean, tidy and comfortable stay with kids.

The house was better than expected, clean, cosy with a view of the ocean from the dining table and patio. Location was excellent just a few minutes walk to Albany’s main street. Communication with the owner was easy, all information needed for an early arrival was forthcoming and plenty of info on Albany’ places of interest. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Albany.

Great location close to Historic Earl of Spencer Inn and the Premier Hotel - only 2 streets back from York Street Town Centre. The cottage has everything you need. Great deck with views to the harbour the surrounding hills. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Albany. Dorothy was very good with communicating and check in details.

Property was clean and tidy and fully stocked with essential items. We had a bit of a hiccup with the wrong key being left in the lockbox but our host sorted it out for us very quickly. Which was fantastic.View from back deck was amazing.Will be booking again.

Bella Rosa Cottage is very centrally located, with good shopping facilities within walking distance, as are all the restaurants. The house is a bit old but tidy and clean, with a good view of the sea from the terrace and two rabbits in the garden. I would book it again.

We have a wonderful relaxing stay. The view is amazing from the back verandah. The house offered everything we needed. We had two cars and a boat, and this property provided parking for all of these. Very quiet area.

Dorothy was the most wonderful host, she could not have been more helpful and responsive. What a perfect little spot - quiet and restful but convenient and close. Thank you!

A character-filled cottage in a great location.

This is a historic Albany cottage, fairly basic but comfy and full of charming character. Has a great deck with a view of the harbour. Great location, short walk to town. Lovely host.

Clean cosy cottage

The accommodation was worn out and smelt of mould. The furniture and fittings were definitely 1970’s and not in a good way. The promised views were definitely overrated. We left after five minutes and found excellent alternative accommodation.

Very comfortable cottage, conveniently located to shopping centres, restaurants & main town area. Excellent communication with Dorothy in regards to check in/out, local attractions & restaurant/ cafe recomendations.The cottage is clean & well equipped. Washing machine is easy to use, we didn't use the dryer as the weather was fine & there is a clothes line.Would happily stay here again

Great location walking distance to town and harbour. Unfortunately we had bad weather but the outside deck would have been lovely with views to the sea. Cottage is old and tired but

Property was as advertised. Not enough space in living room for everyone to sit down at the same time. Close to shops and supermarkets. Dated appliances and decor, but value for money for the location. Overall a pleasant short stay, but wouldn’t want to stay for longer in a group of 6.

Best thing about the stay was the view. Very beautiful. Loved seeing the bandicoot at night. Beds very comfortable. Definitely would stay again.

We really enjoyed being at this location in the days leading up to Christmas. A short stroll down York in both directions with so many little shops to choose unique presents from was fantastic! And the choice of food and hotels was great too. Thank you.

Walking into the cottage immediately took me back to my childhood visits to Albany in the seventies! The style of house, the decor, the bathroom, the kitchen were absolutely classic for what we needed for a holiday. Location couldn't be better, perched on the hill overlooking the harbour, with the main drag of Albany within easy walking distance. The Earl of Spencer less than 2 blocks away was a handy addition! Communication with our host was superb, even down to handy coffee stop advice for the drive down. This cottage is simply perfect for a vintage Albany experience.

Our stay at Bella Rosa Cottage was lovely. A quaint old workers cottage renovated delightfully. The property had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. The owner kept us informed about everything that we needed to know including recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a holiday right in the heart of Albany,

If you are looking to srsy in an historical ex-workers cottage very close to Albany's main street - then this place is perfect. Its in a quiet street with off road parking and great views from the terrace. It is very well equiped for up to 7 people and has access to a washing machine and tumbler.

An older property in excellent condition great view of Albany harbour at back veranda. Location central to all amenities comfortable beds and all essentials provided for a self catered holiday. Once again thanks to our host for her assistance.
