First of all, my communication with the owner was exceptional. I was very impressed with all the information I was given and very prompt answers to any inquiries I sent to her. This Victorian cottage is located in a very unique and beautiful area in northern Michigan. It was extremely clean, cozy, and decorated in such a way that make guests feel welcome and comfortable in a “home away from home”. We certainly appreciated all the amenities, attention to detail, very well equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who might be looking for a special experience and place to stay in the area.
Had a fabulous trip. Loved the house and the area. Perfect space for 6 of us to spread out. House had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.
Petoskey area is beautiful. This home is in historic Bay View community, making the stay even more special. The home, built in the late 1800s, is large, well outfitted and very comfortable. A good location and we recommend staying here.
Great location for day trip to Mackinaw island
Annual sisters getaway for us. Fantastic location. Loved the porch and well stocked kitchen. Unique property.
Mostly golf trip
We were a group of 8 family and friends staying in this charming cottage ….. it was very well equipped , quite spacious and we loved the location both within the Bayview Association and amongst the various other towns “up north”. We look forward to returning ❣️
Our daughter was married at the Perry hotel and we stayed with my extended family at this wonderful house in Bay View. It was the perfect in every way. Lots of space for family gatherings with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There were also plenty of beds, and bathrooms, all with very thoughtful details to accommodate a variety of needs. The kitchen was an especially well planned space that we all enjoyed. The location was also wonderful, as it was close to the venue so it made it easy to travel back and forth, but also near the bike trails, restaurants, beach, and wineries. The house was exactly as shown in the listing and Charlene was happy to answer any questions that I had. I would definitely recommend this wonderful home and feel so blessed that she shared her lovely place with my family during this special time.
We loved the back porch and front deck especially. Found the stove unfriendly and wavy floors difficult to navigate. Otherwise it is a lovely home and all our family enjoyed it.
The house was as expected except that some kitchen items and porch cushions were dirty. The kitchen was well stocked including spices and sufficient paper products were provided.
There’s no other experience like it. All the charm and history makes this cottage truly magical. Owner is very responsive and easy to work with. Our family of 8+ 1 small child had plenty of room. The large table was wonderful for meals and playing games.
We were in town for a family wedding. The home was perfect for family to stay together. Location was great to get to wedding and all the celebrations. Our teens totally enjoyed being so close to the beach, and the adults enjoyed walking the Bay View neighborhood and into Petoskey. Would definitely recommend having a great family gathering. Cottage was very comfortable and provided everything the family needed for a great stay.
Perfect for our girls trip. Especially loved the kitchen and the second floor bedrooms/bathrooms. The porches are very inviting but we were unable to enjoy them because of the cold weather. Great place for family and friends. Hoping to return again one day.
Wonderful cottage. Clean. Beautifully decorated. Close to great restaurants and Kilwin’s Ice Cream Shop. Best VRBO owner ever!
Beautiful inside and out.

This property spoke to my heart. Truly a magical place. We created wonderful memories here.
Beautiful cottage near the lake with everything needed by a large family group
We had a wonderful stay at the Bayview house for Zoo de Mach this year. Perfect house for a group of adults. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and amazing spaces for playing games or just gathering to talk and laughter.
