We had the most incredible stay in this beautiful tiny home in Pirongia for our firend's wedding. The host were accommodating to our needs. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed and welcomed. The space is thoughtfully designed, spotless, and surprisingly spacious — every little detail has been carefully considered. The setting is peaceful and private, with that perfect mix of rural charm and comfort. It was exactly what we needed to unwind and reset. The hosts were absolutely amazing — so kind, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful. You can tell they truly care about creating a special experience for their guests. If you're looking for a cosy, memorable getaway with wonderful hosts, this is it. We would 100% stay again and can’t recommend it highly enough! ?

Excellent host and very awesome accommodations. About 20-25 minutes away from our cave adventure. Perfect compared to trying to drive back to a major city!

This is a real gem. A little cottage in the country well clear of the popular tourist spots. Actually, we chose this location as it is handy to both Raglan and Kawhia, and it would also be handy for trampers heading for Pirongia. But the cottage itself is wonderfully quiet. It is small but everything is there; we cooked, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The bed was able to be raised and lowered flawlessly - you do need to follow the instructions exactly, and if you do it works fine. The shower was fine for me, but larger people (Jonah Lomu type) may find it a bit of a squeeze. We didn't get a chance to swim in the nearby waterhole. We liked sitting outside on the desk and watching the quails and Spotted Dove and other birds flying around. It is walking distance to Pirongia town, where there is the Persimmon Cafe which serves up generous scoops of ice cream. We very much enjoyed our stay.

What we loved - the tiny house is beautiful inside and out. Beautiful wooden cabin feels and there was heaps of space for the two of us. It was very quiet which is exactly what we were looking for. If it had been nicer weather, the water hole looked perfect. Comfy bed, wifi, smart tv and nice shower.Host was easy to contact and friendly when we had question about the wifi password as it had changed. Things to improve on - there was a baking tray under the oven that didnt fit in the oven. We had brought things to make pizza so a flat tray would be handy. And we were quite surprised when we got there, there was a couple of trucks parked right outside the front by a barn. So didnt feel as private as we would have liked, we kept the blinds shut. A tall hedge or trees around the house would be perfect.

Wonderful house to stay in for a break. We hadn’t previously stayed in a tiny house before and were a little bit unsure, but everything was so cleverly worked out that it was a pleasure. Lovely people and a great location.

This Beautiful Tiny House was full of owner-designed and built surprises, where space was used as efficiently as on any boat; yet not at all cramped -- worth a stay just for the architectural experience. The host-owners are real people; congenial and helpful.

My husband and I stayed here so we could see the glow worms in Waitomo which was about a 25-30 min drive. This place is in a quiet little neighborhood and is represented accurately online. The private community waterhole was so beautiful and peaceful, and the house has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would certainly stay here again if in the area!

Was a great little place quiet and beautiful surroundings, the owners were warm and welcoming, and Suzanne showed how to get the comfy bed down. It is a very well equipped home with everything and more we didn't lack for anything. The recommended walk to the waterfall was well worth it and such beautiful surroundings. We will be back for another weekend break.
